Dr. Alves has been treating my family for over 30 years. She is one of the BEST!! I will always go to her when I need a Doctor. Hope she stays on as long as she can because we would be hard pressed to find someone who could fill her shoes!!!!! Bless her. Fine Person. Fine Doctor.

Very unhelpful for Back Spasm complaint. Only offered a sheet of paper with "stretches" to perform. When saying somewhat rhetorically "maybe I should take more Ibuprofen", her response was "Ibuprofen can help". The clinic was also dirty (celing tiles and air registers), and very outdated. COMPLETE WASTE OF TIME AND MONEY!!!

Have been going here for years. Dr. Alves and Dr. Conway both are very helpful and completely listen to the patient. They go by what you say before testing, whereas younger/newer doctors don't listen to you at all and only want to run their own tests without even listening to you at first. Have been going here for 20 years, since I was a teenager.

I completely agree with the first rating. I have never been to Dr. Alves when she wasn't caring, knowledgeable and patient. She actually takes the time to listen to her patients, which is a rarity these days. Frankly, I don't know what I'll do when she retires, as she's the best doctor I have ever had and I can't imagine a better one.

Dr. Alves has been treating my family for 25 years. Always a pleasure to deal with and knows her stuff. Infants through adult. If she doesn't know the answer she will direct you to someone who does. Doesn't get any better than this. Straight forward with adults and great with the children. If you live in Friendswood stop looking you have found the Doctor and office staff who will take care of you the rest of your life. Hope she continues to practice until I get the last child raised.
