It took a year and a half to get an appt with Dr. Alumbaugh and then when that time got there they rescheduled and canceled to reshedule AGAIN. I never did see her, I'm going elsewhere. POOR POOR SERVICE.

Waited 2.5 hours in the waiting room, and over an hour in another room. We never saw the doctor. Very poor office management. I would not recommend this office to anyone.

Dr Alumbaugh as so many people have reflected on, is extremely busy. I had to wait a while to see her, yet, as I told others, I felt very confident after meeting her. She is awesome. Her kind spirit, and excellent bedside manner make her outshine most doctors. She really truly loves her patients. I did not feel intimidated or rushed to ask questions. I am going to recommend her to my mother, and more of the women who have had female issues in the past, as she knows her material and will go above and beyond to help you. I like the way she talks with you, making you feel extremely important. She is a wonderful doctor.

Dr Alumbaugh is truly an absolutely wonderful practitioner...every single visit she had a way of making me feel like I was her best friend and she was just as excited about my baby as I was! I'm not even going to comment on the wait in the office because my first baby was born at 8:30 at night - she personally checked on me several times all day long while I was in labor and then finally stayed at the hospital from about 6:30 until I delivered; my second baby was born at 1:00 in the afternoon, so I know both those days there were many women waiting for her to get done with me, like I had waited on those before me, and they waited on those before them, and so on and so on... She ran the delivery room like a respected 5-star general (not really what you would expect from such a petite woman). You could tell the nurses had the utmost respect for her and she not once excluded or ignored my husband. Through it all I know I was her #1 priority. I would never let anyone else deliver me! Ever!

As other reviewers have noted, she is extremely busy but will sit down and answer EVERY question you have, no matter how many you have. I developed Bell's Palsy during my pregnancy and she was very quick to return my phone calls when I would call worried about new symptoms. She went above and beyond calling other doctors who were more familiar with BP to make sure what she was recommending was the best for me. When I decided not to take a medication she prescribed because I felt that I shouldn't, she supported me 100%. My baby was breach and she suggested doing a version. I decided not to do this and to schedule a c-section; again, she supported me 100%. She is the best doctor, truly cares about her patients and has the most positive, upbeat and laid back personality which is needed when you have a stressful pregnancy. I trust her completely and would not want any other doctor to care for me during the most important time in my life, my pregnancy and the birth of my child.

She always answered any of my questions or concers and was always there. I felt very at ease and comfortable. Being my first preganacy and having complactions was very scary to say the least but I was quite calm beacuse I knew I was in good hands, she always had a plan B in case plan A did not work but it always did.I would never go to another Dr. to have a baby and if she stoped praticing medicine I wouldn't even dream of becomeing pregnant again she is the only one I trust with something so important. She helped me when no one else would and for that there is not enough thank yous or any other words that can even come close to the gratitude I have for her and what she did for my family she will always have a special place in my heart she is the best doctor anyone could ask for because shes more then a docter shes a friend

Dr. Alumbaugh is the worse OB I have ever seen. While I Was having contractions she tried to bully me into a C/S based on babies weight. Of course my baby was 8 pounds and not the feared 11 pounds. I knew in my heart that she was wrong. The things that she said to me were hateful. I hope that no women has to go through what I did. C/S are good for saving a life- I am thankful we have them. 1 of 3 babies are born via C/S without real medical reason. Get the facts.

All I can say is that Dr. Alumbaugh is a fabulous physician. I had to have a c-section and I am so thankful that she was the one to perform the surgery. She helped me to stay calm and I had absolutely NO complications at all. I respect her and admire her ability to work so well with patients. She has a great bedside manner and answered all my questions with upmost professionalism and thoughtfulness. Thank you Dr. Alumbaugh!!!
