Dr. Harrington has a great sense of humour and is a very good surgeon. He treated me for kydney cancer by removing my left kydney, saving my life. Twenty years later treated me for a very aggressive form of bladder cancer. After many attempts at fighting the bladder cancer without success, knowing my case was a little too much for what he could handle at Ridge Meadows Hospital, he sent me to Dr. Peter Black, head urologist at UBC and Vancouver General Hospital which saved my life for the second time. I am forever grateful to Dr. Harrington.

I am giving a 'Knowledge' rating of 4 as, based on other reviews, I assume he know his field of expertise. However, his verdict to eradicate my ED (Erectile Dysfunction) was to subscribe Cialis with no other diagnosis of any other issues causing my ED. The pills didn't work. I actually found out, after the fact, that there is a time and correct circumstances to take the pill. He provided no advice or information on that important procedure! No follow up, therefore no further action to look into my issue - and still unresolved.

well he did remove my prostate, but he cut my colon causing other issues

Dr. Harrington came out of his office to meet me as I was 15 minutes early. He took away my anxious feeling right away. Excellent bedside manner and so easy to talk to. Checked me and explained my issue. Could not be happier with my diagnoses and his expertise.

I have personally never been treated as poorly as I have been by Dr. Harrington’s staff. I felt belittled, humiliated, and was not even given the opportunity to have a productive conversation. After numerous mistakes between my family doctors office and Dr. Harrington’s office to schedule an appointment, I took it upon myself to called and make my own appointment. The appointment for Sep 5th and it was later faxed to my family doctor confirming its date, which they called to reconfirm with me. Upon arrival for my scheduled appointment I was told I made the mistake and there is no appointment scheduled for me. The administrator treated my with unbelievable disrespect and refused to talk with my family doctors clinic who wanted to clarify the mistake. The complete disregard for any professionalism can only be a reflection of Dr. Harrington. I have only read positive review about the doctor and was looking forward to his consult; however, his clinic is a true reflection of him.
