I have been going to Dr. Carter since 1980 and I just love him. I've never had a doctor spend so much time with me and answer questions no matter how silly they may seem. He also has a wonderful sense of humor not found in a lot of doctors. I don't know what I'll do without him if he retires before I die!!!

I have been going to Dr. Carter for 36 yrs. I LOVE HIM!!!! We are both the same age born in Dec. They will call me "What about Bob" when he retires. What will we do? He takes time to talk to my family about my conditions.

I've been a patient of Dr. Carter for 30 years, and without question he is a fine, knowledgeable and very personable physician. As others have said, he takes time to discuss such issues as you may have (an unusual practice in this age of hurried, assembly line medicine.) He is that rare doc of the old school whose interest in his patients is something you can really feel and where the patient is not secondary to the bottom line.

Great doctor. Does more with a stethoscope than some do with a room full of machines. He spends time and answers questions and follows up on your care..
