Dr. Charlton has been my family Doctor for years, and when I have kids he will be their doctor. I consider him like a friend, because he honestly cares, and remember details about me without having to look at the charts. I have been in a very serious accident which has taken me years to recover from, and he has been there for me every step of the way. True, he does leave the country to help people around the world, but anyone who sees this as a bad thing must be very self-centered. It's easy enough to ask when is the next time he is going away, and when he will be back.

Dr. Bill is the man! I'm pretty sure he delivered me and I've been going to him ever since for 29 years.

Dr. Charlton has been excellent for myself and my sister and family. He listens very well and will seek referrals to other specialists where needed. He is very approachable and has an excellent chairside manner. His boundaries are intact and he takes care of himself which is essential as a caregiver. As for his international work, I honor the efforts and excellence of his practice and for those who wonder about this, opening oneself up to international practice will only make you stronger as a physician and humanist. Dr. Charlton's staff have always been respectful, helpful and empathic in their delivery of the administrative practice. While the wait can be longer, I never mind too much for it is due to his humanist approach that I have been able to become my own advocate with him and ask for my needs to be met. For those that would critisize, please understand that while a dr. is trained to read your body, he cannot read your mind;speak up, ask for what you need, work with your dr.

Sometimes you must wonder about him. At first I did like him, but now find him somewhat arrogant as others have written about him.

Saw Dr. Charlton at walk in. He appeared disorganized and more interested in providing details of his last adventure than dealing with my health issue. I'll check to see if he's the dr. in before I do a walk in again.

I have been seeing Dr.C since I was a young boy. He has always been Great! Very knowledgable, and doesnt push random pills. Great Doctor! I will continue to take my future family there and recomend him posatively to anyone I come across asking about a doctor.

Bill has been so busy saving the third world, he arrogantly ignores his own. Do your patients a favor and sell your practise to someone who cares to do more than finance his next "God" trip to the third world. Three years of complaints ignored and one of his "stand ins" diagnosed it as agressive cancer. Post surgery, he's back, but does no followup investigation. Leaves again, another fill in, diagnoses with ONE simple blood test the cancer is back. Had he been listened to three years ago, he would survive. Now he is going to die.

Doctor Charlton is one of the best Doctors that I have had. He is very easy to talk to, patient and smart! You never feel like you are wasting his time or asking to many questions.

I gotta be honest....Dr. Charlton is a nice guy, but he can be a bit flighty, and a bit arrogant, and seems like he is on drugs sometimes. He called me into the office to talk, didnt give me the time at all, on another occasion, I told him I could feel my self dialating, he didnt believe me, thought I was nuts and couldnt feel that sort of thing....but when he took a look, I was dialated 3 cm.....he can be a bit of an idiot at times...My friends husband told me that he got a huge cut and needed stitches and Dr.Charlton sewed his thumb up, but also sewed the goze to his thumb...other then stupid, arrogant moments, he is a nice guy.
