Always pleasent and willing to listen to any thing you might have as a concern. Overall great. It will be a sad day for our family when he does retire, but he will more then deserve it. | Respond |

I have had Dr. Garland for over 37 years now. When I go to him with an issue and he can't help he has always sent me to a specialist. He's very kind and caring and I just love him to death. Hope he doesn't retire any time soon. Now Chris his secretary is another story. She is a witch.

2/28/12 | 2 | 3 | 1 | 1 | I've gone to him for my whole life. Dr. Garland is very rude, disrespectful, unprofessional, the list could go on. I've been diagnosed with severe clinical depression (from someone else) and when I've gone in for meds I've had him question and give me a hard time everytime. His answer to any question that I have is "lose weight". I've had him look at me while I was very sick, stop at the door, and say "I'm not coming in there, Your sick!" wrote a prescription and threw it in the room and walked away! He didn't even look at me! Aweful Dr.! Thankfully my husbands Dr. took our children. If I could find another I would! | See Responses |

He listens and does what he can for me. I have been a patient for over 30yrs...He sees my children, he is considerate, very frustrated with the Healthcare in Canada. I was having a cronic health issue that was not getting any better so I aksed for a referral to a specialist to see if we could get to the root of the problem. He got so irrate with me that he had me in tears and everyone in the waiting room heard what he was saying. So much for Dr. Patient confidentiality. I would DEFINITELY NOT reccommend Dr. Garland!!!! | Respond |

Dr. Garland has gone over and above what a normal family doctor would do for a family/patient. I will miss him dreadfully when he retires. He always makes me and my family feel important, and I would give him very high recomendations.

Without this man's vigilance and dedication to his patients my husband would be dead today. 3/12/07 | 5 | 3 | 1 | My infant neice had white, oozing blisters all through her mouth. Her mother took her in, and asked "Is this thrush?" Dr. Garland said no, and sent her home. A couple days later the baby was taken to the outpatient, where the ER doctor chastized my sister for letting it get so bad, saying "This is the worst case of thrush I have ever seen." The infection was systemic by then, and it took several weeks for the various infected sites to heal fully. Needless to say, the baby has a new doctor now. | Respond | |
