Litigation is justified. Unfortunately, Optum appears to have made it impossible for Dr.Jacobowitz to authorize a disability parking permit and visiting nurse even when a patient presents to Dr. Jacobowitz with a medical condition which legally qualifies the patient for both. In attempting to over-bill a patient, Optum apparently requires Dr.Jacobowitz's staff to call to insist upon another, legally and medically unnecessary, face-to-face visit, at the expense and risky movement of the patient, who may get a nurse and parking permit only after double paying. Given that Optum did not provide complete service at the first, qualifying visit, it is legally justified to withhold all payments from Optum. In addition, it is legally justified to litigate for damages to patient and care giver health as a consequence of untrustworthy, unethical Optum withholding complete service(nurse and parking permit) at first visit. Incredibly unethical! Simply wrong! FREE health care for all would be ethical compensation for Optum's opportunistic attitude !

Mt.Kisco Optum Building: Dr. Jacobowitz moves her hands around openly at shoulder level while accurately explaining medical observations, knowledge, and conditions. As long as she continues to move her hands around, openly, apart, at shoulder level while saying which tests are required in order for her to diagnose and treat a patient, then it might be worthwhile for the patient to get the tests done. But, not at Optum because the RADIOLOGY/ TESTING WAITING ROOM IS NOT ZONED TO ALLOW SOCIAL DISTANCING FOR ANYONE WHO MUST AVOID COVID EXPOSURE !!! Dr. Jacobowitz respectfully wore her mask the entire visit, which is shorter than at other, independent, medical practices, most of which have been engulfed by Optum's phagocytosis.

I'm not sure if it's her or the medical group's lack of efficiency inter-departmentally that's the problem but after today's physical I am confident in my choice to terminate treatment. A patient , like myself, who has waited 5 months with chronic symptoms and pain should not be told after a brief stethescope interview about AA and family cancer history that since I'm 30 nothing is wrong with me . Besides billing issues with my insurance and office visits with her friendly, direct manner , I have no complaints only know its time to get a doctor that cares. I have repeatedly been let down by the MKMG . Today, while holding a urine sample for 4 hours running up and down the stairs 5 times to see if anyone was still there before 5pm , I am convinced that being sued and losing their license is what's on their minds . Communication is awful. Confidentiality is broken.

Absolutely love her...She takes the time to explain things and really listens to you. Very comfortable being in her care.

excellent and very knowledgeable! It does take a while to get appointments though.
