By the time I walked into high school, my braces were off and my teeth looked wonderful. However, several years later my overbite has returned and am now going through a second wave of braces in addition to being told that I need surgery to remedy the overbite (which was not mentioned as being a possibility when the braces came off). In any case I am a little dissapointed by the fact that I am being treated a second time for something that should have been fixed the first time around - and being charged full price I might add.||Respond|

I was significantly older than the majority of his patients and therefore, there were some reparation limitations. Dr. Milne was up front with me from day one. All risks etc... were explained in detail. New problems arose as the years progressed and Dr. Milne worked fastidiously to deal with the challenges. Dr. Milne, Dr. Rourke and Dr. Kucey (maxillfacial surgeon) worked together on my treatment plan. Ultimately, all treatment and subsequent surgery (extensive) were successfully completed. Words cannot begin to express my genuine appreciation for all of Dr. Milne's efforts in remeding a painful lifelong dental problem. Dr. Milne's staff were also fantastic! At no time did I ever experience a lack of support. Thank-you to all of you. Undergoing the years of orthodontic treatment and eventual surgery have made my life more comfortable that I could have ever imagined.||Respond|

He took off the braces after 18 months and the bottom teeth were not alligned properly with the top teeth (meeting in the center between top and bottome teeth). Our dentist wrote a letter to Dr. Milne asking why this was the case and Dr. Milne stated that with the shape of my daughters mouth that we were told that discrepancies could occur. We were never ever told this and I said this to Dr. Milne. He just gave me a weird look and said that he would fix the retainer and over time things would correct themselves. All he offered was for us to not pay $50.00 for that visit. Wow. The staff said that they would send us a card to let us know when our daughter should see Dr. Milne next and over 6 months later and calls to the office....no response. I don't think they like complaints and choose to just ignore us. In retrospect we made a big mistake choosing him.||Respond|
