When I was 12 I had to get a mole taken off of my leg (dime size). Dr. Tokaryk explained the procedure to me and told me that the scar would be a thin line, about an inch long. He froze my leg and cut the mole out, I was flinching because the one edge wasn't completely frozen which he didn't acknowledge. I was 12, and I was scared. The scar ended up being half an inch wide and 2 inches long. I would never recommend this doctor to anyone and would most definitely never let him touch my face.

I had my eyes done at the surgicentre. Excellent results, ,staff and treatment. Highly recommend . Excellent Dr.

I had a breast "lift" and augmentation in 2006. The lift was awful. I was so disappointed with the outcome. It was like all he did was make cuts to make it seem like a procedure had occurred. The placement of the implants was way too lateral. I'm not a surgeon, but I'm not stupid either, and the untrained eye could see it was not aesthetically correct. He uses old techniques I later found out. I had my sutures removed by a surgeon in Kelowna because I had to move there before my post-op visit, and this surgeon agreed the outcome should have been way better. Tokaryk was condescending when I said that my breasts looked barely touched as far as the lift. This doc should not be operating, imo. Spend the extra to travel to a better doc. I should have listened to my gut and RUN the other way! Please do not let this doctor touch you with a scalpel.

I had breast reduction done by Dr.Tokaryk in March 2012 and am extremely pleased with the results. Dr. Tokaryk very meticulous and did a good job. There were no complications whatsoever and minimal scarring. He has been very professonal and helpful. Thankyou

I had an abdominoplasty and it was a complete botch job. He only sutured the lower half of my abdomen with only one layer instead of two. He didn't create a new navel but just moved mine down 1 inch. He also did not remove hardly any loose skin. Not only does the skin look terrible, there is now a muscle deformity that was not there previously. When I calmly and respectfully approached him about my dissatisfaction with the results his response was that he didn't do the second layer of suturing (which is common practice) because I am in good shape and he didn't feel as though I needed it. He offered to redo the surgery at his expense but that until I was under anesthetic he could not guarantee that I would not come out of the surgery with a vertical incision the entire length of my abdomen! He also raised his voice and used profanities during our conversation. I would not recommend this surgeon. I am emotionally scared.

I had a nose job done by him and a liposuction. He ****ed both. Tried to fix my nose only made it worse. I had to go to another doctor to get it fixed properly. Please don't waste your money. There is enough good ones out there. I have emotional scars left after dealing with him. He messed up my stomach too, thank God I had Cesarean so they fixed me up.Please do your research before you give him your body to ply with I wish I could turn back the time . Basically he lacks skill and compassion.

I went to see the good DR after an accident, I had to have my nose reconstructed as I liked my face before the accident I had concerns of how I would look after surgery. I told him I was nervous, he said that was completely normal, considering I paid nothing for my surgery, he was very good to me, even asking me if I considered whose nose I wanted, eg.Pam Anderson, Shania Twain. He gave me back my original nose, and even though he didn't hold my hand he knew what he doing. I think that people who've had surgery and then go to him to correct it , cannot blame him for someone elses mistages, he tells you the risks of the procedure if you ask. Great surgeon.

He stold my belly button during my tummy tuk and threw it away,i thought that was normal proceedure!!!!!Then he did a tummy tuk on a friend and let her keep hers ,i guess its depends on how good of a sleep he gets or if he feels like saving your belly button!!!!If you lost wieght and receive a tuk covered by Goverment .....be carful before surgery ....That you get his word on reconstucting your button ,you have that right !!!!!don,t let him steal yours.

I saw Dr. Tokaryk to have a growth removed. He did an efficient job but could have provided a bit more information. In particular, I did not realize there would be some permanent changes in appearance (beyond scarring) and the doctor did not mention it.

I feel Dr. Tokaryk is a wonderful and extremely fine plastic surgeon.Ive had a few complications due to previous health issues but certainly no fault of my dr. I would recommend anyone to see Dr. Tokaryk and be honest with your expections and ask questions if youre unsure of something. This should prevent people from putting blame on our Dr's for complications which may have been preventable
