started seeing Dr. D'souza in 2009 when he was with Wellstar of Woodstock. my medical needs were status quo (no major/ongoing health issues).Spring 2010 I began experiencing horrible back pain on my right, lower side that seemed to get worse when I drank/ate. Made an appt with D'souza, told him that I suspected it was a kidney stone. He did exam and urinalysis; which revealed "high level of blood." He prescribed antibiotic and to return in 2 weeks.3 days later pain was worse and i returned to office. He said he didn't believe it was a kidney stone (with 5-minute exam) and then referred me to Rebound for physical therapy. Weird. No improvement 2 days later, I return and demanded a CT. He complied. The CT showed a large stone in the left kidney, right kidney, and urinary tract. AND, a gallstone 1/3 the size of my gallbladder. Thank goodness I trusted my gut (literally) and not D'souza-- the doctor who couldn't be bothered.
