Très bon médecin a l écoute de ses patientes et sa secrétaire super

Très intelligent et prend le temps de bien lire et étudier le dossier médical du patient. J’ai été hospitalisé 5 jours et traitée par ce médecin et je suis très satisfaite J’ai confiance en ce médecin.

The main problems with this doctor is that he does not seem to be able to communicate with his patient. Also he tends to over prescribe medication up to the maximum rather than optimum level. Unless you ask your referring doctor, he will not follow up upon prescribing new medication. Nor will he validate through testing whether what been prescribe is effective. His knowledge of drug interaction leaves to be desired.

Après l'avoir rencontré, je l'ai surnommé le clown. On dirait vraiment qu'il se prend pour un clown. Non seulement il m'a mal diagnostiqué mais en plus il ne m'a même pas prit au sérieux. Face à mes questions, peurs et interrogations, il m'a simplement répondu de ne pas m'en faire, que le Bon Dieu lui avait dit que j'étais trop jeune et qu'il ne voulait pas de moi!!!! Non mais quelle façon de traiter un patient. Une chance que mon médecin de famille m'a fait repasser d'autres tests et m'a envoyé voir un autre cardiologue qui lui a vu que j'avais une situation très sérieuse. Je suis présentement en attente pour une intervention au coeur au CHUS de Sherbrooke pour corriger mon problème. Shabani pour moi c'est FINI!!!

Maybe caused by too big a workload. This Dr has no time to explain, reassure or even be nice . Frankly I felt intimidated by him. Projects an air of superiority. Talks down to patients.This is the third time I meet him and he rushes through visits and doesn't give me a chance to get the information I am seeking. I asked him on one visit if he could answer a couple of my questions and he said flat out that he didn't have much time and looked at me as if to say you are bothering me.

After spending a week doing tests on my father's heart in Saint John, they sent him back home with dozens of pills and basically told him they couldn't do anything for him, never bothered to get a second opinion. He was referred back to Dr. Shabani and a few months later, my father was getting quadruple bypass at the Montreal Cardiology Centre. He would probably be dead if it wasn't for the wise decision of this doctor to send my father's file to Montreal for a second option.

GOOD DOCTOR, INTELLIGENT MAN, NO RUNNING AROUND THE BUSH WITH THIS ONE, STRAIGHT TO THE POINT. FEEL LIKE I AM IN GOOD HANDS. BATHURST IS LUCKY TO HAVE HIM. WHO CARES IF HE HAS A LACK OF INTERELATION COMMUNICATIONS. HE SAVES LIVES. HE SAVED MINE. AND I WILL BE FOREVER GRATEFULL.

Does not relate well to patient and doesn't inspire a sharing/participatory behavior. Has a cold demeanour which may derive from a cultural difference. I believe he is very competent.

Docteur Shabani va directement au but sans hésitation. Je le trouve un peu brusque dans ses manières mais a un côté farceur qui nous met à l'aise. Je me suis fait opéré en 1984 à St-Jean au coeur pour un cathéthère(stent) et un pace maker. Après quelques mois, mon système a réagit au stent que j'avais reçu et le docteur Shabani fut très rapide pour m'envoyer à nouveau faire les réparations nécessaires. Le docteur Shabani est un atout indispensable pour l'hopital de Bathurst.
