A very knowledgeable Dr. with a great bedside manner. Delt with my mother while she was in the ICU and when she was moved to the regular ward. Was thuro, compassionate, and clear.

In 2016 my husband developed an infection in his big toe. Dr Auersperg put him on IV antibiotics. He was on IV antibiotics for 5 months straight, but it kept getting worse. We knew he had poor circulation in his legs. We asked him for a referral to a vascular surgeon twice. He said "Not until the infection was gone". Had to amputate two toes. Finally we got his family Dr to refer him to a vascular surgeon. Within 3 days he was in RCH having surgery to repair the circulation to his leg. Surgeon said the infection would never go away until the circulation was repaired. Also said without this surgery he would have lost his leg. Unfortunetly he did have to have one third of his foot amputated because it was so badly damaged. If Dr Auersperg had referred him to a vascular surgeon when we asked they could have saved his foot and 5 months of agony. He is a horrible Dr
