This was the first fertility clinic/fertility doctor my husband and I went to after over a year of trying to conceive naturally and being unsuccessful (I was 39 when we first went so we didn't want to waste any time). Dr.Feinman didn't seem very hopeful for us from the beginning, letting us know that because of my age and my husbands abnormal sperm the odds were not in our favor and our chance of getting pregnant through IVF would be really low. We did all of the testing required before starting IVF and then he told us that my AMH level was very low, that of an almost menopausal woman, and that we should look into an egg donor if we wanted to have any chance of conceiving. After he told us that I was so upset and hopeless, I just didn't even want to consider that option but would for my husband since he didn't have any children (my daughter from a previous relationship was 8 at the time). The office itself is terrible; most of the time no one answers the phone and when you leave a message they wouldn't call back (Gargi was the name of the woman who ran the desk), they don't explain things well, wait until the last minute to tell you about which medication you'd need to get, etc. When I requested my medical records they took almost two weeks to get them to me, I ended up having to actually go to the office in person and demand them because they never emailed them to me, it was ridiculous. We decided to go to a different doctor because we were so unhappy with them. Over a year later we're still getting ridiculous medical bills from them for things we either already paid for or didn't even have done. Anyway, needless to say we are soooo happy that we decided to go elsewhere because I got pregnant at 41 on my first try doing IVF (it only takes one good egg, don't lose hope!) and I'm due to have my perfectly healthy baby boy in 10 days! My pregnancy has been great, even better than my first pregnancy ten years ago! The office we switched to was a bit farther but they were so organized and thorough (Life IVF in Arcadia) and their price was also so much more reasonable! Also, the doctor was hopeful for us from the beginning; I wouldn't recommend Dr. Feinman or his office to anyone ever!

My husband and I struggled to conceive for a year before we met dr. Feinman. My husband had NOA and we had been to 3 different doctors - endocrinologists & urologists - who all insisted they would be able to help my husband produce sperm. The third and final doctor suggested we might look into IVF, friends of ours referred us to Dr. Feinman and we scheduled a meeting. Upon meeting Feinman he wasn't particularly warm and fuzzy and he cut straight to the point. He took one look at my husband's records and said the cocktail of meds he had been on was never going to work and that he needed to add in FSH (we had asked previous doctors about FSH repeatedly and been told it wouldn't help). Feinman wrote the prescription and within 30 days my husband's sperm count had gone up by 40x. Unfortunately we would still have to move forward with IVF but Feinman made it possible! Once we started down the road of IVF Dr. Feinman had a few diagnostic procedures he wanted to go through for both my husband and I - although I was hesitant to spend the money when we already knew the problem I trusted Feinman and thank God I did. We found that I had a birth defect that would need to be addressed in order to have a successful pregnancy, Feinman performed the surgery and everything went perfectly. A year later my husband and successfully got pregnant through IVF with Dr. Feinman. The longer we worked with him the stringer our Dr-Patient relationship became. I am currently 17 weeks pregnant with our miraculous baby girl and we owe it all to Dr. Feinman.
He came in on his day off to check on me when I had a scare. Very professional and courteous, knowledgable and kind. To the blockhead who thinks he was hitting on your wife, Dr Feinman has always been warm and disarming to put patients at ease. Are you intimidated by this?
This doctor is awful. He lied to our faces, convinced us to have a surgery to remove my fallopian tubes, and then have to do ivf. Thankfully there was a complication (due to his incompeted skills) during surgery and he was unable to complete his plan to sterilize me (only to his benefit, to do ivf on me). I got to keep my fallopian tubes and 5 years later I got pregnant with a healthy little girl all naturally. This is not a good man and a terrible doctor, a dangerous surgeon. Please do not let him fool you. I know people that has been very pleased with Dr Buylos though. I believe he practice in Thousand Oaks. Good luck.
We have two children age 22 and 20. We found Dr. Feinman group not to be perfect, but he always told us what was happening. Even when one centafuuge broke a beaker. They found a way to continue to service us. Always treated us with respect. Our girls Heather and Lily are having a good life.
I'm so glad we chose Dr. Feinman as our fertility doctor. Not only does he have years of experience, but he is knowledgeable about the latest studies and newest information in a field where it really matters. We had major issues with fertility and I think any other doctor would have advised us to give up (especially after our first IVF yielded 17 abnormal embryos!) In fact, we wouldn't even have known that had Dr. Feinman not suggested we go ahead with the genetic testing. It saved us heartache, time and money. He always had hope for us and ideas for what to do differently for the following cycles. It took us 3 IVFs to finally find ONE normal embryo! We transferred that and waited and prayed. Miraculously, our little baby took hold and now I'm safely in my 2nd Trimester. I don't think we would have gotten here with any other doctor and I thank God for him every day!
Dr. Feinman was incredible! So compassionate. Most importantly, he gave us our beautiful baby boy! We can't say enough good things about him and all of the people at his Encino office!
Dr. Feinman was amazing! So patient and kind! Couldn't have asked for a better experience.
I couldn’t disagree more with the previous poster. We found Dr. Feinman to be extremely bright and professional. He was very “plugged in” to our treatment and was consistently concerned and interested in the progress of it. He was always very caring and personal, which I suppose could be mis-interepreted by (paranoid) husbands as flirting. He truly cares about his patients and is sympathetic to what they’re going through. I would highly recommend him. There is no one more qualified and caring (a difficult balance to find in a Dr.).
