Ratings for Dr. Dennis Chapman, Retired
4.5
Yes, the office DID dump over $1000 of Dr. Chapman's 2250 patients. My family and their families we some of that 1000. New young Dr's only want to handle 1,000-1,200. As a family physician he was very caring and knowledgeable. Great bedside manner. Me and my family were his patients from the beginning in 1977-78.
They never dumped patients! He was a great GP. Had him as a doctor since I was a kid.
Turned 70 - RETIRED July 2016. Was very good. Sadly and sorry missed. His office dumped his patients.
Amazing, caring, thoughtful, knowledgeable, he has been my families doctor for many years and we will miss him dearly when he enjoys his retirement Thank you for looking after us so well over the years, and God bless... .
Dr. Chapman has been my family doctor for over 28 years. He is always respectful and respects my thoughts on my own body. He does sometimes take a bit longer to see you, but he is ensuring care for his patients. Highly recommended.
I like Dr. Chapman and think that he is very kind. I have found that there is no follow up after getting tests done. On more than one occasion I have had to call to check on my results in situations where they should have called me. Recently there was something wrong with my bloodwork and they did not call to let me know or to have me come in for a follow up appointment. I also have found that with my current problem he doesn't seem to know what to do and so he does nothing. It's very frustrating for me.
Dr Chapman was my family doctor for 8 years before I moved to Alberta. He was very thorough, knowledgable, understanding and pro-active. I had various issues with migraine problems and he sent me for every test imaginable just to be sure there was nothing else underlying. His bedside manner is incredible, there was a family member with cancer and he made house calls to deliver meds and check up on her on Sunday mornings. I would recommend him highly, he truly does go above and beyond for his patients.
Dr Chapman took over as my family’s physician, about 13 years ago. I can not say enough good things about him. He always spends the time to answer all of our concerns, and even follows up with past concerns we reported. He is truly a great physician. We feel very fortunate to have him as our family’s physician; he was there for us during the worst moment in our lives. The only negative thing that I can say, is that it can be hard to get in with him (within a few days) as he is obviously in high demand by his patients. A+ Dr.
Have been my doctor for years and I think he is the absolute very best. He is very thorough in his treatment and will explain it all to you so you can understand his diagnosis. Always polite and punctual.
