I saw Dr. Fink from the ages of 7 to my late teens. He did not listen to me at all and prescribed me medication for a decade that actually worsened my condition and has left me with much worse mental health, triggering rapid cycling bipolar which is very hard to manage. Dr.Fink also was inappropriate with my mother who has multiple personality disorders and was/is an active addict/alcoholic. She would flirt and manipulate him every session and he always bit. Go see someone who isn't so negligent and self absorbed, please.

I saw Dr. Fink for several years during which time he helped me find the best treatment or medications for my condition. For that I am most grateful. Like many Baylor grads he is arrogant, chilly, condescending and seems more profit oriented than anything else. I can agree with most other reviews with regard to these character flaws. He is also disorganized with regard to his note taking which he admitted to me that "they were a mess." This is unfortunate for both Dr. Fink and his patients. If you are willing to put up with his character, he is likely to be able to help you..BUT ONLY if you are seeking medication management. I think he would be a lousy psychotherapist for all of the reasons I have mentioned. 2 1/2 stars.

Cold, chilling, arrogant and dismissive is not accurate. He listens and takes notes. He's always available In a time of crisis- always. If he was any of those before mentioned characteristics he would not expedite to coming to my aide qhen needed. In my opinion a psychiatrist job is not to be buddy buddy. His bad side demeanour is exactly what I expect and want from one in his profession. If you want a nurturing cuddling doc find a female. He is highly knowledgeable, trust worthy, and regardless of what anyone has posted he acts in the patients highest and best interest. I am grateful he's my doc.

Fair and straightforward - very knowledgeable - has decades of information to draw his conclusions.

I first went to see this Dr. In July 2017. Subsequently I had a phone appointment in August of 2017 because I was no longer in Texas and moved to Washington Dr. where I subsequently found another physician to treat me. I received a bill for another phone appointment that I allegedly missed in September of 2017, for $175. I called the office on several occasions to discussed that that appointment was never made by me. I spoke to the chief financial officer of the office where she told me I had to pay, which I did. This is outright fraud, I feel cheated and robbed by this physician and office.

Dr. Fink is knowledgeable and smart. I've been going to him a long time and trust his opinions. My problems are not severe though and it is true he can be a bit chilly but we have worked throughout that. I trust him.

All of the reviews that describe this man as cold, unfeeling, arrogant, non empathetic and condescending are 100% accurate. My experience with this man was that he was extremely dismissive of my issues and just threw medication at me. He just wants to get you in and out of his office as fast as possible, so he can get his next patient in and out of his office as soon as possible, and so it goes. Do not give this man your business.

Dr. Fink has the empathy of a small hand grenade. He does not care for his patients. And you better not question his judgement. Run!!!

Cold, unfeeling, not empathetic. I agree with rude and arrogant. His diagnosis was incorrect and his treatment plan was ridiculous given my history. It was like he has a checklist of what he's supposed to do, with no idea how to treat people like individuals. Shameful that any person experiencing mental health concerns should ever encounter him.

Arrogant and condescending. Asked my seven year old son if he had suicidal thoughts. My son was so uncomfortable that he was squirming on the floor, whispering to me that he wanted to leave. When I told him that he was okay here with me and the Dr. and said there "was not a problem," the Dr. said to my son, "Your mother is wrong. There clearly IS a problem here and we need to treat it." He completely misunderstood the intent of my statement. Worst experience I have ever had with any mental health clinicians. Spare yourself and seek someone else.
