The support staff are great. I did not want the review of this doctor to be misconstrued as acceptable, in any way. She RUINED my life for 5 years through her horrible examination practice. She had an intern do a work up. She never read his work but did a 20 second internal on me. Announced, “not gynacological”. Sent me out of her office crying, in pain, and threw me on the “chronic pelvic pain” pile. Because of her declaration, I was left on pain killers for 5 years, when I needed surgery. I fought and fought and did finally get surgery from a Vancouver gyne surgeon and the pain was erased. Allaire diagnoses chronic pelvic pain when she doesn’t know the answer. Don’t accept it. Go to a better doctor. BC Taxpayers should not be supporting this person’s work. You deserve to live your life without pelvic pain and not reliant on pain meds.

She left me in the stirups so she could talk to her mechanic. My treatment plan from her was yoga and mindful breathing. Safe to say, I never went back.

Waited 14 months for an in person appointment only to interact with a "Fellow" doctor. Only saw her for 2 minutes while flat on my back having the transvaginal ultrasound. Asked me to change so that they could speak with me. Again only the fellow came. I left with handouts and asked to think about it. Was offered a telehealth phone appointment if I wanted. I thought I was going to be communicated with by Dr.Allaire seeing my Doctor referred me to her specifically--boy were we wrong. 14 month wait just to talk to a fellow.

I’ll be frank - based on my experiences, I do not like this Doctor. She disregards mental health concerns related to Endo, and has no empathy and compassion. She doesn’t listen and interrupts conversations. I poured my heart to her about endo and related issues. She made me feel like crap, all because I wanted her to answer some surgery-related questions for me. Women with Endo are strong, reliant, and highlight intelligent; don’t underestimate us, you have no right to make us feel like crap. Based on my experiences, I don’t see myself going back to her or listening to anything she says.

After years of Endometriosis pain. Many surgeries I finally feel light to the end of the tunnel. Dr. Allaire & staff at BC Women’s Clinic I can’t thank them enough. They an amazing team. I am truly glad I found a doctor that believed me.

Pathetic,outdated information,unhealthy advice, lacks basic empathy,dismissive.The Med student was also mis- informed.Nothing short of a circus show.Sad that this kind of doctors operate.I would not recommend this doctor EVER!!
