Most people on this page must be adults who's children go to Dr. Kang-Lee. I am actually a 15 year old patient of hers. I started going to her after my uncle, who used to be my pediatrician moved, so I've been with her for about 4 years now. Not only are her nurses very sweet and nice, but she is one of the best pediatricians I've ever been to. I am a high-schooler who is DEATHLY afraid of needles and shots. And just today I volunteered to go first(before my sister) to get my flu shot. My parents were going to get it from the local walgreens, but I begged for them to take me to Dr. Kang-Lee. She's also very approachable and nice. My only critique is that you do have to wait some time before meeting her, but I feel like that is what you have to do with ANY doctor. Also, I had the stomach flu about a year or two ago, and I called her 3 times in one day with my symptoms after going to her the day before. She was so considerate about it, because I was freaking out. That being said, she isn't a pill-pusher. I try to avoid pills because I don't like them, but my parents told me I should take something and they called my uncle and he prescribed me some pills. So if you're child or you are more of the type of person who is okay with pills, you have to kind of get her to prescribe you something. Overall, I think is an amazing doctor and I don't trust anyone besides her.

I left this office a year ago and have been requesting my daughters records be faxed to her new office and they just never sent them. The incompetence of this office is amazing. My daughter can not go to school because of them. After more then 10 attempts to get the resorts faxed I finally asked to pick them up. They informed me I would have to wait another day and pay ten dollars. The manager would not even come to the phone I am personally going there today and will address this matter with the doctor and the manager. Wish me luck

I have been taking my daughter to Dr. Kang-Lee for 5 years now and have mostly had a great experience with this doctor. Unfortunately, about a year ago something changed. Dr. Kang-Lee is very knowledgeable and friendly, but you feel a little rushed. It appears as if they over-book appointments and you end up waiting for 30-45 minutes after your scheduled time. Her staff is friendly, for the most part, but "lackluster". If you have an issue, you have to speak with several staff members before someone can finally assist you. You schedule an appointment for a specific reason, but when you get there, they have to ask why. If they don't have time to do what you initially scheduled, they want you to come back, all while treating you as if you made the mistake. The Edison office is a mess. The waiting room chairs are disgusting, the bathroom stinks and usually doesn't have either soap or paper towels and the treatment rooms can use some cleaning, as well. My time with this Dr. come to an end.

I switched my children to Dr. Kang-Lee a few years ago when my company changed insurance carrier. I wasn't very impressed with the doctor. Yes, she was helpful and caring but it normally took repeated visits before my daughter would get better. It was never the case with her previous pediatrician. Dr. Kang-Lee prescribed amoxicillin multiple times over the one year that the children were with her. I was surprised that when my daughter couldn't shake whatever she had after the first round of antibiotics, she was again prescribed the same thing over and over during the course of the next few months. I ended up switching back to her old pediatrician even when though my insurance did not cover the visits.

This doctor was very kind and considerate. I was in the office for a total of 45 min. 5 - 10 min spent waiting. She along with her assistants love children and it shows. They all are so very helpful. Kang-Lee, so far, is the best uver all! Located on Old Road in Edison past Chili's.
