TERRIBLE experience. She was not in that day and had a MIDWIFE see all of her patients. The receptionist was unaware that patients signed in and was already waiting an hour before she realized she didn’t put them into the system. The place is very disorganized and unprofessional. I had to wait almost 3 hours for something very simple.

I have been a long time patient of Dr. Eng's for many years. She always makes me feel comfortable and takes the time to answer all of my questions and address any concerns. During a routine annual exam, she felt a small mass in my breast. Though my mammogram came back negative, Dr. Eng insisted that I get an ultrasound anyway. I went thinking it would be nothing since I have always been in perfect health. It turned out to be cancer, and was caught early enough to have just a lumpectomy and avoid needing chemo. I know without a doubt that her experience, intuition, and true caring for her patients saved my life, and I am forever grateful. Many doctors would have just went with the mammo results and said I was fine. If you want a doctor who truly cares about you, go to Dr. Eng. She is the best. I have also referred my friends to her and every friend who went to Dr. Eng loved her and became a regular patient. Some people have complained that the staff was rude. This is not the case! Most of her staff are bilingual, as she serves the Chinese community because they feel more comfortable with people who speak their native language. Their demeanor might not be the same as most Americans, but they are not rude. Try being kinder to them and they will respond with the same. I have personally witnessed many patients who are (ironically) so impatient that they become rude to the staff, who are trying their best to help them. Unfortunately these are the people who post the negative reviews, which is not at all an accurate reflection of the medical care you will receive, which should be your number one priority. I have also met very nice people in the waiting room who like me, agreed they wouldn't go to anyone else but Dr. Eng. When you are the patient with the scary diagnosis, you will want someone like Dr. Eng to take the time to explain everything to you and reassure you that things will be ok. If I have to wait longer than I expected, I'm fine with that, because I know Dr. Eng truly cares about all of her patients. And that makes it well worth the wait.

I normally do not write reviews but Lisa Eng drove me to write one. She is quite arrogant. Do not like it when you ask questions. I asked her a few question and she got upset and recommend that I go see a specialist when she is supposed to be one herself. Her feed back is so minimal that leaves you with no choice but to seek a second opinion. Save your time and aggravation, go see someone else! All she cares about is how much money she can get from your insurance company! So sad....

It's too bad her staff and the environment is so unfortunate, because I found Dr. Eng to be quite knowledgable and helpful. When I told her admin the Dr. wanted a urine sample, she literally pointed to a stack of specimen cups on the reception counter and said I had to go next door to get the bathroom key. When I brought the sample back, they told me to wait, and the receptionist took a dropper and extracted the amount she needed. Then she handed the sample back to me and yelled at me to dispose of it in the bathroom myself. There was no soap or paper towels in the bathroom and the hand blower was out of order. And, they ask you to write your own name on the tiny test-tubes with ballpoint pens that don't work. I've never been exposed to this type of lo-fi DIY environment. It's basically looks and is run like a bad insurance office, except they are practicing medicine. It would make a great SNL skit!

I recently went back after years of being treated by another doctor. I found her to be quick and abrupt, not to mention extremely rude to me on the phone. I will never go back again , now I know why I left to begin with

what a waste of my time and money. the staff is filled with rude people who greatly complement and even more rude doctor. Came to this doctor when I was 18 to do an STD test, when the doctor sat down to have a consultation with me when I got my results back and i asked a question about how a specific question about how a certain STD was contracted to which she responded "do you know what STD stands for? okay then". i SWEAR ON MY LIFE that was her response and i was truly appalled. I have never paid anyone to be so rude to me in my life. I HOPE NO ONE EVER VISITS HER OFFICE AGAIN BECAUSE SHE IS RUDE, UNPROFESSIONAL, AND DOES NOT DESERVE CLIENTS THAT NEED TO BE TREATED WITH CARE AND DISCRETION. p.s. I tried my hardest to write this without cursing. this is how infuriated i am with my experience with this horrible doctor

Dr. Eng delivered both of my kids. She is responsible for helping my wife beat ovarian cancer. She is a true doctor- caring, compassionate and smart. She is a surgeon- the self assured and no nonsense way she conducts business, is the price that you pay for dealing with top physician. I never had any problems with her office staff. She is a real professional.

I will admit Lisa Eng is very knowledgable in her field of work. But that is the only positive thing I can say about her. I have seen her 3 times in the course of 1 year and she is the worst doctor I have ever had. My next visit I have with her will be my LAST. She is good at her job but HORRIBLE WITH PEOPLE. She constantly talks down to my mother and I as if we are stupid because we do not know everything about gynecology and 5 minutes do not go by without a demeaning sarcastic remark during conversations and questions. The staff seems to be in their own world and if they do anything wrong, they will not hesitate to blame it on the patient. I would not recommend this doctor to anyone I know; my entire experience here has been grueling.

Wow! I am just amazed at the feed back on Lisa Eng. I would not use knowledgeable as a choice of words to describe her. I had a very interesting experience in her office. I had gone to her for my first pregnancy and was told by her (Lisa Eng) that I would be getting a C-section and this was her assumptions, I gather that only because there was no extended testing. Being this was my first pregnancy I wasn't experienced myself, but was rather alarmed by her ignorance in just making comments without any facts to use against me. That being said I now have had 6 healthy pregnancies all natural no C-sections whatsoever!!! I am glad I went on instinct and ran the hell out of there. Not to mention she is extremely unprofessional and was flirting with my spouse so if you have a husband leave him at home she thinks they are fair play..lol....Sorry but I have to be honest I am very happy with my present doctor and there is hope after Lisa Eng...

I find that Dr. Eng is very good. I have been using her for several years and have no complaints other than not being able to get an appointment quickly. The staff has become friendlier and helpful. Dr Eng makes me feel comfortable and she is quite knowledgeable.
