I tried to contact this cardiologist's office. The number online is for the MR Hospital. They have no one there by that name!

she was very efficent and explained clearly that my heart was racing and the possiblity that i had strained my heart and to take it easy /Stanger was great the staff not very helpful /

Dr.Stanger's only weakness is her lack of time management.She is extremely knowledgeable, and always takes time with me regardless of how far behind she is. Her secretary is a jem!

Just because Dr. Stanger is British shouldn't be cause for complaint. She knows what she's talking about and has always been very pleasant to me. I suspect there's a wicked sense of humour in there waiting to get out!! My family Dr. recommended her and I'd trust her judgement any day!! 75 yr old in Maple Ridge.

A very different person, and has no concept of time whatsoever. However she is an excellent cardiologist, very approachable and takes time to answser questions. Treats my husband, saved his life, scared me sometimes when I wondered if she knew what she was doing - but she was always right. On of the rare specialists who will return a phone call.

yes it is true Dr. Stanger is never on time and she is not a personable doctor.If it wasn't for doctor Hilda Stanger I would not be alive today!! I'm now 37 I was diagnosed by her at the age of 32. No specialst was willing to look at my heart because of my age. When I arrived to her Newestminster office and waited 1 and 1/2 hours to see her she diognosted me with 4 stage heart fauiler and saved my life!! So the next time you complain about her being tardy think about the pluses of having a brilliant Dr. something most people never get the opportunity to have.

Sorry to disagree with so many others but Dr Stanger first met my mom in emergency room ordered all the tests available within a very short time. Discovered that Mom neede a pacemaker. This was the weekend and very late at night. Kept Mom over night and then released her with the order to return on Sunday and on Monday morning Mom was on her way to Coquitlam for the pacemaker. Since then we have had contact through her hospital office and she was pleasant and pleased with Moms progress. When we moved she arranged for the files sent here and the care continues . Thanks Dr. Stanger.

Known as the Dr. who has never been on time to treat her patients. Have been kepy hours for scheduled appt.

This is the rudest MD ever, no personality or concern for the patient, I know why she does not practice in her native country, purely here for the money and lifestyle. a tragedy for canadian healthcare and senior heart patients! Margaret age 85

i have never waited so long in my life for an appointment this woman clearly doesn't respect anybody's time but her own. good information but that's all she'll give you.....your time is her last concern.
