I really miss Dr. Frand - too bad he left Washington, DC and his practice there to move to Texas. He was one of the best dentists I ever had. Good luck to him in his new practice.

The best dentist I have seen. Managed to explain his treatment plan in terms I could understand and was the first to eliminate pain rather than cause more.

I went to Dr. Frand only once and he was good, but he seemed disappointed he couldn't find more work to do on my teeth (presumably so he could charge as much as possible to my insurance). Hey, let's be happy when patients have healthy teeth, okay?

I am a serious dental-phobe and Joel Frand was the first dentist that I actually didn't mind seeing. He does good work and is kind, and didn't seem to mind my poor behavior. I am sorry that he left DC!
