I had an extremely harmful experience with this doctor, especially regarding my PTSD and medical genetics (including MTHFR issues). He repeatedly dismissed my concerns, pushed medications I clearly said I did not want, and ignored my history of bad reactions. When I tried to talk about how certain drugs affected my PTSD and my MTHFR problems, he brushed it off, refused to have a real conversation, and acted like my questions were an inconvenience. He explicitly told me not to look up my medications and acted like I should just do what he said without being informed or involved in decisions about my own body. Instead of listening, he often gave me smart‑aleck smirks, talked down to me, and made me feel stupid for advocating for myself. His attitude and behavior made my PTSD symptoms worse because I felt trapped, disrespected, and unsafe in his care. In my experience, he did not take my PTSD seriously, did not respect my right to informed consent, and did not care how these medications could affect my specific health situation (including MTHFR‑related concerns). I left his care feeling more traumatized, not better, and I would never recommend him to anyone who has PTSD, medication sensitivities, or who needs a doctor willing to listen and work with them.

Dr Dy is the perfect family in my opinion. He listens, he remembers you, he always has same day appt available for emergency needs, and he is easy to work with.

I have great confidence in Dr. Dy. He is always prepared, and he listens to you. He is very knowledgeable and will discusses various treatments, potential concerns, etc. I highly recommend him and would not want to switch to a different doctor.
