07/05/12 3 5 1 2 I saw Dr. Goldberg for about a year for trauma and depression. His specialty is marital and couples therapy but he did indicate he was specialized in the areas in which I needed assistance. I felt that he lacked structure and didn't provide any plan for addressing my issues. During times of immense stress and panic, he would just say breath without providing any guidance on proper breathing methods or any other grounding methods. He recommended books for me to read but we never discussed them. We would discuss my past truama and when time was up, he took no time to ground me or to make sure I was ok to drive home. Many times I had to sit in my car for twenty minutes, hysterical and trying to calm down. He took little interest in my welfare and lacked any true empathy. I have a new therapist who, on day one, showed me grounding techniques, and waited to make sure I was safe to drive, as my safety was a priority. I lost a year with Goldberg, but am now on the road to recovery.  Respond
