Dr allen is not caring at all. Had labs done with him and never got the results. He's always ordering these expensive tests that isn't needed and doesn't listen to the complaints. So my search is on for a good Dr.

Mechelle from his staff was SCREAMING at me and totally unprofessional. How she gets away with this is amazing!

Visited in early January 2013. It was first visit after moving to area. Met with doctor, discussed medical issues, and requested refill of maintenance meds (blood pressure, cholesterol, etc.). Prescriptions never called in to pharmacy as promised, never notified of blood test results. leave messages for staff with no return calls. As of 3/27 (and now out of meds) no refills called in and no return calls from office after multiple attempts to contact. Very unprofessional.

I went to Dr. Allen for a physical required by my insurance company that was supposed to be 100% covered and it cost me $400. He charged me a copay and ordered blood tests that were not included in the physical. He never called with the results. I got a bill from the lab for the tests that I couldn't use because I don't even know what they were. I called for over a month to get my copay back and never got a call back. I have had issues with his staff getting required paperwork to my employer on time and with the correct information. He recommends expensive services and doesn't follow up.

Very Knowledgeable in the area of ADHD and doesnt overmedicate patient.

He told me to have some suspected"skin cancers" removed-- they are scars from a firecracker accident in my youth .He ordered a colonoscopy for me(I had not been to him in over a year at this point)problem is he failed to tell me I was having one-(I had one 2 yrs previous with another DR.)Out patient clinic called night before and I told them I had no idea what they were talking about.I then went in to get meds renewed and they did blood work-never called with results- took me 3 phone calls and 2 walk in visits to get them and then no one explained them.You always wait when you get there and yet he always has time for the drug reps.He also never prescribes genarics unless you insist.

DR Allen if very helpful, his staff is very quick and professional,You leave a message and within a 24 turnaround you have your answer or referral that you need. Dr Allen is patient and listens to the patient and their needs.

Kept child on antibiotics during several bouts with ear infections. Looking back now, I believe my child should have been referred to a specialist to get tubes in ears. I had to force the issue and eventually was granted a referral.

Dr. Allen is very caring and understanding of your health, he goes above and beyond for his patients. He will do what it takes to keep health care afordable for you, while giving you the best medical care possible.

Very supportive, very outstanding, spends quality time with his patients, caring, understanding, easy to talk to, great with kids and the elderly, great with people that are going through hard times in their life and very supportive throught the bad times, and contacts patients to see how they are doing
