Started seeing Dr. Tullis and her team early 2021 after being diagnosed with CFTR in my early 60's. I have nothing but positive things to say about all of the staff at this CF clinic. Very helpful, explanatory and compassionate Looking forward to an improved life with the help of this team.

She is hand down the best physician I have ever met in my 32 year history seeing CF doctors. Her tact is unlike any other, and her ability to use simple language to convey complex subjects is impeccable. She is very open to dialogue, and "leveling" with each patient to accomplish the ultimate goal.

I have been a patient for over 25 years, when she was first starting in the field. She is highly intelligent, passionate and driven. She has made a difference in the lives of so many St. Mike's patients, me included. Always pushing for new research, breakthroughs and drugs to help patients liver longer, better lives. She has a warm personality and makes you a partner in health care, considering your views, opinions and goals. She is supremely busy because she has patients clamouring for her expertise from all over Canada, and consults with doctors in other countries. Yes, the clinic waits a can be extreme, that is why Dr. T has been fighting for a decade for the funding to expand and enlarge the clinic to accommodate her 400+ lung patients. A new wing is now being built, and should open in 2017 with a better functioning clinic set up. I would not have lived to age 53 to get my lung transplant, had it not been for Dr. T. and the wonderful, dedicated staff she has. She is THE BEST.

Dr. Tullis is a wonderful doctor, but her clinic is too busy. It typically takes 3.5 to 4 hours for a 10 minute lung function test, 2 minutes to get weighed, another 10 minutes talking to the nurse and finishing with 10 - 15 minutes with Dr. Tullis. She is so helpful, friendly and positive that I usually leave her office forgetting that I was mad about the boredom of waiting that long.

Dr. Tullis always listens and she lets you have a say in your own health--these are two major factors for me. Since transferring to the adult clinic my health and quality of life has improved significantly due to these two things. Wait time is an issue at this clinic (as it has been in many), which seems more of a facility and clerical issue. Otherwise, very helpful and has an amazing memory! (Also great clinic staff, always friendly and helpful)

As a CF outpatient, she has only been a great doctor. The wait-times in the clinic are fairly long, but she will make sure to see you and not skimp on the time she has to see you because of how busy it is. She always explains everything if you want her to and makes sure you understand. She provides options for the future, so you can think about it, and is always helpful and kind. Additionally, she is ridiculously knowledgeable and one of the people on the cutting edge of CF and respiratory research. Definitely someone I would recommend
