I can't begin to say enough wonderful things about this place! I came in for a specific reason, a blocked fallopian tube, and I got so much more. I had such poor circulation in my hands and feet, constantly cold, and not sleeping through the night. With the combination of acupuncture, tea pills, and Dr. Uneo's knowledge literally everything improved. I regularly feel my hands and feet at a normal temperature. I sleep soundly through the night again. Greatest of all, my blocked fallopian tube is open! Everyone here is so kind, professional, and personally cares. Dr. Ueno is the miracle that I needed! We had been trying to get pregnant for what seems a lifetime. Our journey was full of challenges, including 3 back to back miscarriages and 12 unsuccessful egg retrievals all within 2 years. Finally, in September of 2024, my fertility doctor insisted that I take a break from IVF treatments to let my body relax and referred me to Dr. Ueno. I had never done any acupuncture treatments before and I was skeptical, but decided to give it a shot anyway. I vividly remember meeting Dr. Ueno in late September. His warm smile and kind personality instantly made me feel at ease. He carefully listened to everything I had to say and asked detailed questions. I was so impressed by his wealth of knowledge about fertility. He also encouraged me to take a break from IVF and focus on helping my body recover and relax. I recall he told me that the egg's journey was long and the treatments we would start today would likely generate results in 2 or 3 months. I began seeing him regularly (once a week). As he noted improvements in how my body was responding at each visit, I was becoming more and more hopeful. Finally, just like Dr. Ueno said, in January of 2025, 3 months after the start of my acupuncture treatments, we had a positive pregnancy test. Today, I am 12 weeks pregnant with a healthy baby boy, whom we cannot wait to meet in September of 2025, exactly a year after meeting Dr. Ueno. Everything happens for a reason and I truly believe meeting Dr. Ueno was meant to be for my family! I will forever be grateful for his kindness and support throughout my fertility journey! I cannot recommend this facility enough. I suffered from recurrent miscarriages, and my doctors couldn't find a reason as to why they kept happening. A friend of mine recommended Dr. Ueno, because she had a similar experience and was able to carry her daughter full term after receiving treatments. I thought, why not? It certainly won't hurt anything. After taking some time to let my body heal and receiving treatments from Dr. Ueno, I conceived and carried my identical twin boys full term, with no complications my entire pregnancy. I know that Dr. Ueno's attentive care and treatment plans played a HUGE role in my successful pregnancy, and will continue to see him postpartum and beyond.

I had a wonderful experience with Dr. Ueno. This was my first-time trying acupuncture. Just after the two treatments I felt my life changed. I had multiple health issues ranging from joint pain, bloating, kidney issues. My GI function improved, my mood improved, kidney function improved. I felt normal after a long time. The care provided at Caring Acupuncture is outstanding. For years since my first pregnancy, I had what appeared as large varicose veins around one of my ankles. With Dr. Ueno's caring assessment and acupuncture treatment, the swelling and discoloration are much reduced - a wonderful result!

Dr. Ueno has helped my sciatica pain significantly. The pain was debilitating and constant as it was caused by a herniated disc. I saw my orthopedic doctor six weeks ago who advised surgery for the herniation and for L4-L5 spondylolisthesis. After four sessions with Dr. Ueno, I returned to the orthopedist for a six week check up, and he told me he no longer advises surgery because I am too functional. My pain has significantly decreased and I am so much more comfortable doing everyday activities. Very grateful to my osteopath for her recommendation of Dr. Ueno.

Having become disabled with MCS, Multiple Chemical Sensitivity, and Western medicine offering no treatments for the condition, I found relief at Caring Acupuncture with Dr. Ueno. Air pollution mainly from people burning wood (see epa.gov/burnwise/wood-smoke-and-your-health), using fragranced laundry products (see NOAA.gov and Lung.org), and smoking, was threatening my life and denying me access to city streets, facilities, shops, public restrooms, etc., including my own backyard. My condition was so dire that I would, on occasion, stop breathing in my sleep due to fine particle (PM2.5) air pollution from people burning wood. Dr. Ueno's treatments lessened the effect of exposure to air pollution and I cannot recommend him highly enough. It is most likely that I would have died without his treatments.
