unfortunately this was the doctor who is on call when I went into labor. I had no complications during my pregnancy so i wanted to ? Try to go as natural as i could. After refusing pitocin he came in ans said " who do you think you are,I don't have time to wait around on you". I was on state/ federaly funded insurnce and feel that this was one of the reasons for his major attitude issues. Also, after making sure that it was knothat i DID NOT want him to break my water (laor was progressing well), he came in the room to "check me" while my family was out of the room. I was in labor and was trying not to concentrate on what he was doing down there when my sister came in nd was suprised, since he was trying to break my water (he had the hook out) she shocked him, he jumped and hooked ME and it HURT. My my daughter came outwith A SCRATCH on her forehead!!.

In June 2008 I had the misfortune of having Dr. Alfonso deliver my first child, who was 6 weeks premature. Dr. Alfonso treated me with much disrespect. He told me that using a midwife for my prenatal care meant that I didn't have prenatal care. He also turned my epidural off while I was pushing even though I had asked for it to be left on; and then yelled at me because I was screaming in pain while I pushed. This horrible birth experience led to severe PPD, and made it hard for me to bond with my son. Then, in December 2009 I was pregnant with my second child and had to go to the hospital with flu-like symptoms. I was examined by Dr. Alfonso and when he found out that my second child has a different father than my first child he told me I should get sterilized. He had caused me much heartache and should be fired.
