Dr. Leighton's is extremely knowledgeable however his ego can be a little over top but it did not bother me as much as his staffs unprofessional demeanor and no respect for clients. His staff may be his downfall. They're horrible!! Also, the quality of glasses are great!

The staff are very helpful and kind, each visit that I have been there they have been pleasant and had though business like they have had fun helping me pick out glasses that would best suit me. Always friendly! Dr. Leighton knows what he is doing and you are comfortable with the knowledge that he shares with you. Each of his customers are important to him and you can see that he cares for them to get the optimal care. I would not go anywhere else, this is a awesome office with caring staff!!!

Enjoyed my visit. Staff was helpful but must not have been having a good day. Dr. Leighton ran behind schedule due to emergencies he saw earlier in the morning. I was made aware of this issue. Dr. Leighton was easy to approach with my eye problems and had great knowled ege of how this was related to my overall health. His office was very high tech and very clean. I would recommend him, just realize since he is the only one in that area, you might have to wait if emergencies came in before you. Overall Good experience.

I visited Dr. Leighton twice over the past 2 years - mainly because he accepted my insurance. I will be looking for a new doctor. I have never met someone with such a huge ego! He brags about everything! If he is making the kind of money that he appears to, then he should consider updating his office. Also, I personally do not feel comfortable being alone with him as he has made an off-color comment to me before. I'm sure that he is a fine doctor, but his attitude kills it for me. I would rather go back to my previous eye doctor and pay for the entire exam than to have to visit Dr. Leighton again! The office staff is entirely too slow and really didn't seem to care about me as a patient at all. They would rather sit and gossip than speed things up - funny that they have a sign apologizing for their slowness due to their superb care. Yeah, right! Don't waste your time with this doctor and his staff!

In my experience Dr. Leighton seemed to have ego and control issues that are not sensitive to the patient. Either that or he is only interested in padding his pocketbook. His attitude and policies are 'my way or the highway', and are not in line with any other opthamologists or optometrists that I have seen in the past 15 years. I was in for a contact lens exam/prescription. He insisted I get glasses, or he would not give me a contact exam. I informed him I do not wear glasses, and would not wear them if I had them. He then told me I did not have to wear them, just get the exam and buy them because it was his policy. He also made a disparaging remark about how I should just use a Wal-Mart eye clinic. He and his staff were not up-front about his personal policies and what he expected from a new patient and as a result wasted time in my day and caused me to needlessly take time off from my work. Dr. Leighton should take his new patients' time, money/gas, and livelihood more seriously.
