In Dr Pamarans defense, she's been my daughters pediatrician since birth. She is now 9yrs old. I know the protocol about walking in without appointment. and yes I do wait. I am gratefull that she will see my daughter when I come without appointment and those who are complaining should be ashame of themselves. Karma's a Beach, one day you'll need to walk in because child is sick. I know it inconveniences those who have appointments. I do make appointments for yearly physical and have had to wait, so what. I, along others if they dont like it can go anywhere else. but your child is treated and cared for with respect and genuine affection. if you dont like it,"____" fill in the blank with the proper fould language and apply it to yourself. She's a godsend when needed in a time of need. I have other pediatrician in case we cant be seen. daughter is rarely sick. but next time heaven forbid your child has an excrutiating ear ache you'll be humble enough and be happy you're not turned away. My daughter was never seen even close to her appt time. From newborn to 3ys old, it was typical to wait from one to two hours after our appt time, even if she was sick. I brought this to the Dr's attention and she said that she had to see sick kids without appts and that backed up her appts. I told her I am a working parent and must ask for time off to keep my appt with her and if it continued I would have to switch Dr. She said it was out of her hands if kids are sick and she apoligized. I don't buy it. My kid has been sick and we wait 2-3 hrs to be seen. This office is overbooking and the staff is willing to help but they are limited to doing so since they are overworked. I sincerely Love this Dr and find her to be very kind and caring. But after I spoke to her about this it continued to happen three more times. I am no longer going there.
