I love Dr. Cohen. I was told I had the best doctor over and over again by other people. He was very knowledgeable and up to date on the latest research. He inspired confidence in his ability to treat my cancer in the best way possible and in my ability to recover. His compassion and concern combined with his sincere interest made me feel as if I were not just another of many patients. He discussed treatment options, explaining them well, and he patiently answered my unknowledgeable questions. I looked forward to my appointments with him (except during chemo). He has served long and well, and I am happy for him and his family as they begin to enjoy time together without the extreme pressures of his responsibilities for so many patients. He has helped countless people, and I am blessed and grateful to have been one of them.

Dr. Cohen, my radiologist, and his staff--the receptionist, the treatment nurses, his nurse, Dr. Cohen himself--everyone I had direct contact with, were professional, helpful, courteous, knowledgeable, and compassionate. They all, without exception, had an excellent bedside manner. They explained procedures beforehand in an understandable way, answered all questions, and did so in a caring, but not pitying, patronizing, or invasive, manner. No question was too dumb. They are approachable and they listen. I was told what to expect next during the treatment process and given suggestions, advice, and encouragement. Wait time is minimal. It is the exception, not the rule, to wait. You are in and out. Treatment is effective to date it's been two years. No charge for six month checkups (for the next thirty or forty years he said). The best. Including deductible I paid about 5% of total cost.

Dr. Cohen serves as my oncologist following breast cancer surgery. He is professional and caring. He is very knowledgeable about the existing medical treatments and cancer trials that are taking place. He explains the course of treatment thoroughly and sufficiently. In the initial appointments, he makes an effort to be sure that the patient understands the course of treatment and expected outcomes. I find him to be understanding and comforting, given the multitude of questions any cancer patient would have.
