First, let me say that Dr. Gold is truly an excellent doctor. She is sweet and caring, and we travel well out of our way to take our kids to see her. However, there is and always has been a problem - the wait times at her office are TERRIBLE TERRIBLE TERRIBLE. We regularly have to wait 90 minutes in the waiting room, and as much as 30 minutes in the exam room while waiting on her or her staff. This past week, we waited 2 hours to get into the exam room and then waited over 45 minutes for her to arrive... The total exam time was less than 10 minutes... Something is wrong when you wait nearly 3 hours for a 10 minute exam.

She always runs late 30-45 minutes. Overall she is helpful and knowledgeable but it is a pain to wait with small children for her. The staff rarely answers the phones to deal with scheduling issues also.

Dr.Gold is a very good pediatrician. I hold less than conventional views of healthcare, and she has always respected my views. Even when she disagrees with me she is still respectful and polite. The only problem I have is when she was out and I was made to see one of her partners the other doctor was condescending and lectured me about my choices/beliefs. I guess it is hard to find a good doctor who has an office FULL of other good docs!

She is a wonderful pediatrician. She takes her time with you & listens to your concerns. She respects the fact that you are the parent & with your child & that you know your child best. She explains everything she is going to do to the children. I switched both of my children to her after we moved & I wasn't satisfied with our old pediatrician any more. Sometimes you have to wait a while to see her, but the waiting room is comfortable for the kids. I had concerns on my sons speech & she said "then lets get him tested" she told me if speech wasn't covered by my insurance where to go to get him help, now he is in speech classes & talking much better. Her associates are also very good. My daughter was hospitalized with stomach problems & they were all so kind and caring. She actually calls you herself with test reports & to check and see how things are. When you call with questions or concerns, she calls you personally. It is great to have a doctor you can trust with your children.

Dr. Gold is one of the best pediatricians in the region; she was mine when I was a teen and she is my daughters' as well. I often wait a while, but I understand that she's bogged down with a lot of patients in a day. She's knowledgeable and the kids love her. I highly recommend her!
