I almost missed my appointment because there was no parking and long lines to use one tiny elevator. I was referred by my doctor to see a specialist at UT. I was never told that the doctor left the practice. Instead I got scheduled with another doctor my referring doctor knew nothing about. I asked if this doctor had read my file. The nurse said yes so I took the appointment. The first words out of Dr. Ericsson’s mouth were to ask if I thought he was a magician. He wanted to know how he was supposed to fix my issues. He said I did not need treatment and needed anti inflammatory medicine. I had a previous infectious disease doctor treating me but she left the country. I have several notes from other doctors saying I need antibiotic treatment. He dismissed my test results and didn’t even bother to look at any previous results or even notes. He knew nothing about the medications I was taking and had to google them. I asked about the tests my urologist had ordered. He yelled that they were garbage and he did not trust them. All in all he spent five minutes berating me. My insurance does not cover UT Physicians so that’s why I had asked if he had read my file and was willing to treat me. I spent almost four hundred dollars for someone to treat me like garbage and dismiss me. I will NEVER step food into any UT building again.

I love Dr. Ericsson. He is knowledgeable, patient and nice. I went to see him for concern over a pseudomonas culture result and he listened to me and explained to me the logic of why I shouldn't be concerned. He did not make me feel stupid and was so kind. He is a Harvard grad too. Highly recommend this doctor.
