Dr. Frankel, it's time to retire. My Mother received her new Rx from Dr. Frankel and couldn't see well at all, after another visit, his response," Just wear your old glasses". A competent Dr. examined her explained, "No wonder she can't see, this Rx is all wrong. Thanks for NOTHING Dr. Frankel. Aloof arrogance is unbecoming, ineptitude is unacceptable.

Completely rude and condescending! Dr. Frankel was the 5th out of 6 doctors I've seen for an eye problem. So I've heard all the possible problems and solutions, and trust me, I've tried them all. I met with a nurse first, and she said the usual things - dry eye, change your contact solution, change your eye drops. I told her that I had tried that multiple times and it still didn't work. After talking to her for about an hour, I asked - am I going to see the actual doctor? I finally get in the doctors room, Dr. Frankel comes in and says it's dry eye and suggests the same things Doctor #3 had. I told him I had been through this routine before and it didn't work. He said I could listen to him or get out of his office. He treated me like an inconvenience - like he just wanted to throw some half-hearted solution at me so he could get to his next patient. NOT how I want to be treated after four incompetent doctors. What a waste of two hours and my out-of-pocket money.

I found Dr. Frankel very condenscending. He litterly laughed at me because my need for correction was so 'small' that I shouldn't have complained. He never took into account that I was born with mono-vision and my eye sight was better than 20/20 for most of my life. I disliked him so much I quit getting check ups for years.

I've seen Dr. Frankel since 1991. I have the utmost faith and trust in him. He's extremely knowledgeable, professional and personable. He performed my custom Lasik in 2004 and my eyesight is 100% since. The procedure was painless and he explained every step during the process. Dr. Frankel is personable and very much respected by me and many others. I recommend him highly!!!
