Dr. Jones is an amazing doctor and an amazing man. His office sometimes run a bit late but he is very popular and is often called to help with emergencies. I myself was one such case and I am lucky that such a skilled surgeon was available. I would not be here to write this review if it weren't for him! Thank you Dr. Jones and his wonderful staff!

Horrible at keeping appointments. Changed the date 3 times. Tell him not to schedule people when he is on call.

surgery runs relatively on time, but office visits generally 30 minutes to over an hour late & may not show up at all, in which case you see the PA who is friendly but not particularly knowledgeable. Surgery was "successful" if you limit it to him removing what he wanted to. Not if you count the side effects that he had little, if anything, to say about.

The post op follow-up was horrible. I had a gallbladder removed that was OK. In the office, he is OK too but not very helpful. The care after the gallbladder removal was essentially non existent. Referred me to another "pal" of his in a big gastroenterology group because of stones. His "pal" was useless and gave me more problems. I had to be hospitalized in another town to get better.

Long wait but he's a busy popular doctor. He tends to be surprised when you ask him a lot of questions but he will answer them and try to explain if you do not understand. With as little information as he had he did a great diagnosis. Surgery showed him to be correct - open surgery though created 2.5" scar. Healing is still ongoing. The skin above the scar protrudes a little and is still not fully recovered in terms of feeling (feels like it is numbed with ice all the time). This was just one month ago so healing is expected to continue for a while.

Dr. Jones removed a ganglion cyst from my wrist and did a varicose vein stripping in one of my legs.5 years later there is hardly a scar for either operation. Recently during surgery he found additional cancer in one of my breasts that was undiscovered in a prior biopsy. Thanks to Dr. Jones for keeping me healthy.You may have to wait,he is busy (because he is good) and gets behind at times, but he does his best to be timely. His bedside manner and straight forwardness are comforting.His care is exemplary as is his knowledgeable office staff.

My daughter had pain in her foot and was referred to this doctor for surgery for a possible foreign object (We knew she had stepped on a toothpick and although we removed it thought some remained). He did a terrible job! He did a big exploratory hole into the bottom of her foot and did not find the object. He did not locate the object prior to surgery, there was a big hole he left to heal up. It was very traumatic for a seven year old. Later we went to another doctor and he did an MRI and located the object and did an excellent surgery to remove it.
