Dr gitlin helped my father live a quality of life for his last 6 months. He is compassionate and thorough. He is rather no nonsense and is the best dr in ga for liver diseases.

He is the worst provider I have ever encountered. He was extremely late to every appointment and basically rushed me out of the exam room without answering any questions or listen to anything I had to say. The only redeeming quality about his practice is that a few of the medical assistants consoled me after he screamed at me and left me crying during of my routine visits.

Dr. Gitlin is a profound doctor. Some may feel his bedside manners are questionable but one thing is for sure there is never a doubt of his abilities to care for you. He is direct and to the point and I have experienced that he makes diagnosis and prognosis very clear. I am very thankful to have been so blessed to have him and his PA Cathy as my doctors for my liver disease. Believe it or not we have shared a few laughs during my visits from his jokes...yes he does have a sense of humor......he just wants his patients to do their part in their care as well

Is very knowledgable, but does not have a good bed side manner. is very quick to talk with you, and does not explain treatment/diagnosis very clearly

I am awaiting treatment for Hepatitis C. due to complications with Liver Disease. Dr. Gitlin is caring and explains everything to me. I have the utmost respect for Dr. Gitlin and feel like I'm in the best hands!
