Was referred to Dr Michael Thomas since I had a Thyroidectomy 7 years ago and new to the area. He’s very personable and very knowledgeable. He took his time with me and he explained some information I’ve never heard of before. Love this doctor! Glad I found him!

Just found out my true diagnosis at this office, so I'm just beginning my journey. I found every aspect of my care to be knowledgeable and professional.

Dr. Thomas was referred to me by my general physician because I was having complication with my hypothyroid. Saw him only once rest of the time it was his PA. My symptom was getting worse. I am seeing another doctor now.

This doctor and his practice is a train wreck! He acts like the "queen bee" popping into rooms to spend maybe 5 minutes with a patient and leaves the PA to gather info and meet with the patient. A bit condescending when he speaks to you and just a person that you wouldn't wish to entrust your health with in any way. I warned you!

Dr. Thomas is a superstar Thyroidologist. He is not only intelligent and extremely experienced in the Thyroid, he invests a great amount of time explaining things and really seems passionate about his interest in thyroids and thyroid cancer. He's a rock star and my daughter had thyroid cancer in 2007 and now I have it and he's been our caregiver since the beginning. A wonderful practice and wonderful choice if you need a thyroid endo.

I just wanted to write a "thank you" note to Dr. Thomas and his staff at Carolina Endocrine. I have been a patient now going on 5 years and I know one of the things I appreciate about Dr. Thomas, is the amount of time he spends with me on my visits. In today's world of "quantity" over "quality" his a refreshing doctor who appears to be truly interested in the welfare of his patients. I traveled nearly 2 hours for this appointment. I was extremely pleased with Dr. Thomas and his staff. I scheduled my appointment online. I was contacted the following day to set up the appointment. To my surprise, I had an appointment within 2 weeks. Their website offered to fill out forms for new patients and submit online. Upon arriving to my appt. I was asked to sign the form I filled out online. The wait was only 6 mins. The nurse took me back was measured, weighed and bp was taken. I was explained that the physician assist. would see me first, then Dr. Thomas. All within the hour I was there, I had an ultrasound and biopsy of my thyroid. I was amazed at the quality of care and professionalism of this office. I would HIGHLY recommend anyone to see Dr. Thomas & his staff.

The worst experience ever. PA is rude. Dr. Thomas suggested a test that he already said I did not have the symptoms for. So why have the test? Told I was fine because labs are normal but he NEVET asked about any symptoms just went by my referral. Go somewhere else.

I have had nothing but good experiences with Dr. Thomas and his staff. Everyone has been polite and helpful. I get my lab results back quickly. He is thorough without making me have unnecessary tests. I would highly recommend his office.
