My recent experience on 12/9/15 was Wonderful with Dr. Petok and her staff. Dr. Petok is knowledgeable, kind and professional. She did not interrupt me while speaking. she was courteous and quick given the workflow for the morning. I had three ladies ahead of me , so I expected to wait, at least for a short time, and that , it was...A SHORT wait. She was understanding and patient. All members of her staff that I dealt with were equally as kind. I haven't seen a GYN in over 6 years and University Womens Center made my visit a wonderful experience. Five Stars for Dr. Tina Petok!! I will definitely recommend her services.

Dr stinks bring back the pa. I've been completely disappointed since the pa left as everyone else said the dr is cold, nasty to you and pushes concerns that are not important. I'm 15 pounds overweight (137) I was told I had to workout 1 hour everyday no matter what I needed to make time. Who works out that much for an extra 15 pounds.

Staff is very nice and always welcoming. I love Dr. Petok!!!

I have always used Dr. Petok's NP as my OBGYN. It wasn't until she left the office that Dr. Petok became my primary OBGYN for annual exams. She forgot to call in a very important prescription for me after a month of waiting. Her staff was rude to myself and the Walgreens staff that was attempting to fill the script. When I finially spoke with Dr. Petok over the phone she cut me off mid sentence and told me SHE DIDN'T EVEN CARE...and asked how I wanted the prescription written. After she has filled this for me the past 7 years she should know how to write the prescription. I informed her that I was very upset with her service and unprofessional attidude as an MD. She then insulted the tolwn I live in and laughed as she HUNG UP ON ME!I would highly suggest seeking another Doctor who cares about personal women issues...because she is not the one who will! I can see why her PA left to work for someone else.

Staff was great. Dr.Petok herself was horrible. I felt rushed....she didnt bother to send my prescription to the pharmacy nor did she book my "emergency" ultrasound. Just plain horrible i will never go back to her again !

I've used Univ Women's Health Center for the last 5 years and usually saw the same nurse practitioner. Unfortunately she has moved on so I'm left with Dr. Petok, who is cold, uninterested, doesn't seem to bother checking the chart (how disconcerting to be told "Nice to meet you" by someone who has examined you on at least 2 prior occasions). The nurse practitioner was awesome, asked questions, answered my questions, and seemed genuinely interested in my health. Not even an inkling of that from Dr. Petok. I'm considering going back to my doctor in Boone rather than dealing with finding someone else here.

Love the Nurse Practitioner and staff in this office, Dr Petok is not someone I would like to deal with again. I am sure she is knowledgeable, but that didn't show in my appointment with her. I have previously had my annuals with the NP in the office, but my last appointment was with Dr Petok. She was rushed (although I was the only person in the office at that time- honestly) and acted like I was a waste of her time. There were some issues raised that she brushed off like it was not a big deal, not offering any advice or suggestions. She did not know that I was a nurse (she would if she looked at my information sheet or talked to me) and knew what she was telling me was crap. I will not go to this office again unless I know for sure I will not be dealing with Dr Petok herself.

Dr Petok and her staff are very helpful and always a step ahead in making patients comfortable and also provide information they need. I have been seeing her from over 7 years now and I have no complaints but appreciation of their service.

She and her staff have great bedside manners, they take an interest in you as a person, not just as a patient. She and the Nurse Practitioner were very diligent in diagnosing my PCOS and making sure that I was on the right medication regimen.
