First doctor to diagnose my back problems. He is a caring doctor who takes the time to get to know his patients.

I saw the PA - Ken Barrow. I had been to my primary care doctor, then refered to get an MRI, then to a neurologist, and the to Ken Barrow. He "diagnosed" my issue (severe knots in my trigger points in my neck) and then said I should get a massage. His diagnosis was Myofasial Pain Syndrome. I have had a history of thyroid problems and after reading about MPS I learned that it can be tied to that. Even though I had to fill out a tremendous ammount of paperwork - I guess he never looked to see that could be the problem. I will have to say that I too was treated like a drug seeking patient even though I turned down his offer for muscle relaxers. This is my first venture into pain management - I am sad for the state of our health care system. All together this cost me $1500 out of pocket. STAY AWAY!!
