This man literally saved my life 25+ years ago. Without going into personal details, when I was at my rock bottom this wonderful man diagnosed me, reassured me and gave me the medications I needed and I slept for the first time in days. This man knows pharmaceuticals and knows how they effect the brain and set someone on the right track to neurological and mental health. Dr. Lawrence, thank you for everything. 💕

I called 4 times trying to get an appointment as a new patient only to get the answering machine. He does leave his cell phone # but I didn't want to disturb him on that since I wasn't already a patient. After 2 1/2 weeks of not hearing back I finally texted him to let him know I had been trying to reach him for a new patient appointment and received a very generic message that he wasn't taking new patients. No apologies for not getting back to me sooner. It would have been helpful to hear that 2 1/2 weeks ago. I thought that was very unprofessional especially for his line of work in the mental health field. It's a good thing I wasn't in extreme emotional distress. Very disappointed!!!!

Will not return phone calls and not available. He gets very testy if you mention this to him.

Wonderful for cognitive therapy, and not a slave to medication.

Best Psychiatrist in the area! Although he's a very popular doctor and consequently hard to get into, he is incredibly understanding, uplifting, encouraging, honest, and undoubtedly worth every penny I've paid to see him. He isn't swayed by pharmaceutical companies or the lure of money and will give you his honest opinion about whether or not you should stay on an Rx. Often times he'll tell me that there's no need for me to take anything! Unfortunately, he only takes patients once a week now so he's very hard to get into.

Although knowledgeable, it is impossible to contact this doctor. He simply does not make himself available.

This psychiatrist completely ignores the patient and talks to people in the community about his patients.
