Dr Ginsberg did not listen to me as a patient. He told me I couldn't be feeling what I was feeling, I have a rare condition and he had no desire to learn about it in any way. I was referred to him by one of his colleagues and he was unsympathetic saying he had no idea why I had come to see him. (Confused, I emailed the referring physician who confirmed that they had indeed spoken to Dr Ginsberg and he did know what the appointment was about.) He was generally rude and dismissive which in my opinion makes for a poor representative of the medical community. If he can't find empathy for his patients or even fain it, then perhaps he should stick to teaching instead of intimate, sensitive procedures. There are many urologists in LA, I chose a different one with great success. Other patients experiencing a similar situation should perhaps consider doing the same.
