Dr. Berger is awesome. I have told my ob about him, and he said he will be sure to have women call me who are interested in a reversal. My experience was excellent. Not only was the surgery quick, and not very painful (I didn't need pain pills afterward), but it worked. He was only able to reverse one side, and yet I still got pregnant on the first try. Thank You Dr. Berger and staff. I am due to have this baby Jan 7, 2010.

I can't say enough good about Dr. Berger and his staff. Everyone was so personable and very informative. Dr. Berger and the staff put me at ease about the procedure and answered all of my questions. The best part about the entire ordeal is that, because of Dr. Berger's clinical expertise and precision in doing this procedure, we now have a beautiful baby boy. I could never thank him enough for giving me a child....I didn't think it was possible and was skeptical about the viability of tubal reversal as an option for having another child. Well, now I would definitely recommend Dr. Berger to anyone who is considering it and are skeptical. He is an excellent surgeon and has great bedside manner...I don't think I've ever encountered such a caring physician....

I was a patient of Chapel Hill Tubal Reversal Center (CHTRC) and had my procedure on July 23, 2009. My situation is probably different from most women who come to this clinic because I did not have a tubal ligation. After my first pregnancy ended in miscarriage due to a blighted ovum in August 2008, an HSG test misdiagnosed me with having blocked tubes in March 2009. Then, after a failed cycle of IVF this past May, my husband and I decided to take care of the root of the problem and have my tubes repaired by Dr. Berger at CHTRC. During a laparoscopic procedure, Dr. Berger found out that both my tubes are actually open so no surgery was required. Due to this finding, Chapel Hill Tubal Reversal Center refunded almost 43% of the fee. This proves that Dr. Berger’s primary objective is to help women have a baby and not to run a business. Only 6 weeks after my procedure, I found out that I am pregnant! Thank you Dr. Berger for making this possible!

Dr. Berger and his group of medical professionals are committed to helping patient's conceive through their state of the art tubal reversal surgery. I had my surgery in 1997 and, after a quick recovery, today have three beautiful and amazing children ages 3,5 and 7. The caring staff are amazing and make you really feel important and special throughout the process. They provided the most wonderful gift of all to women like myself who never thought they could conceive again ... hope! I would highly recommend them to any and all women struggling with infertility after tubal ligation

Our Son was born on 7-6-09. We couldn’t of conceived him naturally without the help of Dr. Berger at the Chapel Hill tubal reversal Center in North Carolina. We live in California and the Dr’s around here discouraged me from having the tubal reversal done because of my age (41). After reading the testimonials and talking to people on the message boards. we decided that Tubal Reversal at Chapel Hill with Dr. Berger was the right choice for us. We made the long plane ride from California to North Carolina and had the surgery the next morning.The Chapel Hill staff was friendly and very organized. We met with Dr. Berger first and then they prepped me for the surgery. They answered all my questions and I felt like I was in good hands. After the surgery, a nurse came to our hotel room and checked my incision and gave us instructions on how to care for it. The next day we were back on a plane to California. I healed pretty fast. It took us 6 months to get pregnant.

My husband and I had visited an invitro specialist prior to Dr. Berger and they told me that they were my best option over tubal reversal, but that they didn't do them after 43. At the time I was 42 1/2 and had to figure out how to come up with 20,000 plus. It wasn't very encouraging. I had, had my tubes tied for over 14 years prior to meeting Dr. Berger. We found Dr. Berger and called the office with a million and one questions. The price was no where near 20,000 dollars and they were very encouraging even though I was at this time 43 1/2. I had my surgery Oct 31 2008 and the staff was great. I got a positive on March 2009 (5 months later). I am due in Dec. 2009. Even when I had questions after the surgery and after I got pregnant the office staff and Dr. Berger was available to answer my questions. We used the Medchoice option and paid it off with our tax return then we were able to go ahead and get the surgery.

I had my tubal reversal in 2003, and became pregnant 8 months later. I have to admit I was hesistant at first, because I am from Texas and I would have to travel to North Carolina. But I spent many wonderful phone conversations and emails with Dr. Berger and his staff, that by the time it was time to go, I felt I had friends there. The treated me very well, and took good care of me and my husband. I gave birht to my son Victor in April 2004, and he is my pride and joy-all because of Dr. Berger's expertise and the hope he gave us. God blessed us truly with my son. Not a day goes by that I don't recall the journey we made and the succesful outcome.

My husband and I made the trip to Chapell Hill in 2004 and in 2006 I gave birth to a healthy baby boy. I could never thank Dr. Berger and his staff enough for the gift they gave to me and my family. Hi My name is Lynn,I went to Dr.Berger to have my tubes untied. I have not never had such a nice staff and dr even through having my kids. If you are looking to get your tubes untied I call Dr. Berger do your research I did. But in the end you will see Dr>Berger is the only Doctor that has a sight that you can view so many people that have already went through him and had such great turn outs. I had my tubes untied march 6,2009 and was 5 weeks pregnant by april 15th. I lost the baby but know that I can get pregnant. I am sure I just started way to soon lol. Dr. Berger is the best!!!!! Dont just take my word, again research you will see....Oh and by the way I drove from Wichita kansas to N.C just to have my surg done by Dr.Berger long drive there but even longer back but yet well worth it.

Had my TR in 2001 with Dr. B and have never regretted it. My experience was so wonderful before and after the TR. Do not pay attention to those saying the staff doesn't care. That is ridiculous. I have emailed Dr. B years later with questions, and he has PERSONALLY answered all of them within 24 hours...and I am not the only one he does that for..and he doesn't get paid for that. Don't blame Dr. B if your reversal doesn't take..that is in God's hands. I had 4 m/c between my 2 tr babies..it had nothing to do with having a TR or the Dr. I used..it happens to everyone, TR or not. I am on my 7th TR pregnancy. If this one doesn't stick, it's not Dr. B's fault. I wrote the book Tubal Reversal Our Journeys mainly because I was so inspired by the way God works through Dr. Berger. And he doesn't have to BASH other doctors on his website like the other's do. They do it because they know he is the best doctor for this procedure. Dr. B is A++++ and I back him 100%

has great stats, i had the easiest to undo, filshie. both tubes are scarred, had hsg and then recanalization and i'm very scarred. having another reversal done by another dr using a different technique, no stents. i am not happy. they treat you like cattle with no privacy at all. the nurses were arguing about speaking outloud about vd's etc. i would never trust him to touch me again. he said he would use a different technique. why didn't he use that to begin with. i am height and weight appropriate as well. no health issues. have had other surgeries and always healed miraculously. i will file a malpractice for all the pain and suffering both physically and emotionally.

I had my surgery in Oct 06. My miracle baby boy was born 11/08. I was treated so wonderfully at chapel hill, I have yet to meet any other medical professional that is as skilled and caring as the group of people that work at chapel hill. Dr. Berger and his staff were/are there to answer questions before (I'm talking months) I ever even paid for my surgery and even to this day, they respond to questions that i have and help any way they can. Doctors just don't care as much as this group of people do. I would go back again, in fact my husband and I are considering it because I was stupid enough to get ligation again and PTLS is 10 times worse this time. If we do decide to reverse again I wouldn't go anywhere else not even if it was free! I flew in from Az. and my experience there was better than a lot of vacations I've had and thats saying a lot considering I went there for surgery but the absolute best part was my gorgeous baby boy in my lap making it hard for me to type this right now

My name is Christine 'Tina' Kachmar and my husband Mike and I welcomed our son, Maxson on March 26, 2009. He weighed 8 lbs. 7 ozs. and was 22 inches long. I had my tubal reversal in August 2004 after being hulka clipped for 9 years. I had a miscarriage in 2006 but the wait was well worth it. Our son is perfect and he is very healthy. I would recommend Dr. Berger's facility because everyone there was so nice and obviously the procedure was a success. Dr. Berger performed my tubal ligation reversal in the summer of 2005. As far as I know, he is in a class by himself. Normally this surgery requires many weeks of recovery. My husband and I flew to NC from OK, met w/ Dr. Berger the next day, had surgery the day after (I was up walking the halls soon after), and was on a plane home the following day. After that there was minimal pain and almost no downtime. The whole experience was wonderful, and being finally restored brought peace.
Dr. Berger's office is a testament to life, with binders full of pictures of the beautiful babies that have come into the world thanks to his skilled hands.
If you are on the fence about doing this, consider what I finally came to realize, that as with all contraception, tubal ligation takes a bodily function that is working properly, the way it is designed to operate, and causes it to malfunction. This is not health care.
Don't wait another minute; call Dr. Berger and restore your body.

I travelled from the UK to USA as i had heard of Dr Berger's excellent reputation for performing tubal reversal. The centre staff were courteous, professional and polite - and i was treated like a princess! I had a follow up HSG 6 months later back in the UK to be told both tubes were blocked - i was pregnant 3 weeks later! So 6 months after my op at the age of 38 i was pregnant - thank you so much Dr Berger.

I had my tubal reversal in July of 2007. I only have one fallopian tube (another issue that had nothing to do with my procedure here). My husband and I started actively trying to get pregnant in Sept of 2008 and as of March 19 - I am pregnant. We are very excited and it would not have been possible without Dr. Berger and his wonderful staff!

Dr Berger is a wonderful man and excellent doctor! I traveled from Northern Canada to have him perform a tubal reversal at his Tubal Reversal Center in Chapel Hill NC. Although there was a local doctor that could have done the surgery, we wanted it done by the best!! From the moment you arrive at his center you will be treated as if you are the only patient there! All of his team are friendly, caring and professional. Dr. Berger took all the time necessary to provide us with information, listen to us and answer all of our questions. He has great bedside manner and is a gentle, caring person. We had the best experience while there and would not hesitate to recommend him to anyone considering tubal reversal. He is a highly skilled doctor, top in his field!! ...I am only two weeks post op and my incision site is barely visible!! He does wonderful work helping couples to create their own little miracle. I would highly recommend Dr. Berger to anyone!!!

I had my TR done in November of 2003 and in a year me and husband had a little girl born in November of 2004, and in March of 2006 we also had a son. We thank god and Dr. Berger everytime we look at them because without him we wouldn't have them 2. I was kind of skeptical at first because we kept trying and trying but we also knew that it may take some time and nothing can happen as fast as we wanted but it finally happened and when it did we let Dr. Berger and his staff know. So it's truly a miracle and a gift from God.

Dr. Berger did our tubal reversal on 10-30-06 he did an exceptional job, very professional, very nice people they have a way of making you feel at ease, if you have a qustion they are more than happy to help you to understand. I felt very scared to be put to sleep due to a prior surgery, they helped me to be calm and not to worry that everything would be o.k. They shuttle you to the hospital and back to your hotel when you are thru, and then come to your room the next morning to make shur everything is ok before you go home. We found out we were expecting 4 months later had a baby girl 10-7-07 and are happy to find out we did it again we are due in september of 09. we cannot thank these people at Chapal Hill enough they are true miracle workers, I would highly recommend Dr. Berger to any one.

Dr. Berger performed my reversal on 8/01/03. In 2004, after an HSG, I was told by a local doctor that my tubes were blocked, but Dr. Berger assured me the results were inconclusive. To my surprise in Oct/05 I found out I was expecting. I gave birth to my son on 07/31/06. We were on top of the world as you could expect. Although we could not have asked for anymore miracles, the lord blessed us w/another pregnancy 18 months later. I gave birth to a precious baby girl on 11/20/08. Without Dr Berger and his gifted hands I would have never had my 2 miraculous babies. There isn't another like him. I will be forever thankful to him and his staff.

The staff, friendly and knowledgeable. Dr. Berger explained every detail to us. I had no doubt I was in good hands! Dr. Berger and his staff are such a blessing. Dr. Berger is a very skilled and caring doctor. They do not treat you as a number. I would tell anyone looking into this surgery to go to Chapel Hill. My surgery was a success! I had my TR April '08 and was very pleased with my experience. I searched for 5 years for a TR doctor and I always went back to Dr. Berger. The staff was great and very kind during the IV when I almost passed out. Dr.B was kind and very helpful to me even after my TR. And now I am currently 6 weeks pregnant and am very pleased that my surgery worked. I would highly encourage anyone interested in a Tubal Reversal to check out Dr. Berger and Chapel Hill TR Center. It was a wonderful experience and the stay in Chapel Hill was great! Even my own OB/GYN wanted all of Chapel Hill's information to give to women that come to him for information on TR's! I would have done it all over again if I would have had too!

I chose to do tr after trying ivf. My insurance paid for most of the ivf. As a christian i did not like the idea of freezing embryos. The first attempt produced one egg it fertilized but did not grow proper. the second time I had three eggs fertilized( i choose to use all )and the result was a miscarriage. I feared doing ivf again because i did not want to over stimulate and take the chance of having to freeze. I feel that God lead me to Dr. Berger. I am so glad he did. Everyone was absolutely wonderful. I have read that some feel they wasted their money because for whatever reason they have not yet become pregnant. Whether or not I have positve results I will always feel that I was given the best care possible. I actually feel like a whole women again. I thank God for all the Chapel Hill staff. So ladies good luck on your journey. If your journey leads you to tr Chapel Hill is the absolute best choice.

I am extremely pleased with the care and service I received by Dr. Berger and his staff. They genuinely care about their patients and are always there to answer any questions or concerns. I was impressed with how everyone (including Dr. Berger - most doctors only give a brief bedside introduction) took time to meet with my significant other and myself. I was scared to have the procedure and the staff was very compassionate and professional. They explained everything in advance and made me very comfortable. The best part....one month later, I am pregnant! I couldn't have chosen a better facility!

I took a lot of time looking for a Doctor who could perform a tubal reversal. There are many out there, and having surgery isn't something I take lightly. It was very important for me to find the right Doctor and and the right staff to provide me with EXCELLENT care. I found Dr. Berger and his staff to go above and beyond my expectations. I was able to get all my questions answered before and even after surgery. Dr. Berger and his staff provided me with great care, and were very helpful during the entire process. My surgery went very well, and I healed very quickly. At my discharge they gave me instructions that I followed closely. I was very impressed by the follow up care that Dr. Berger and his staff provided. I am more than satisfied. They are a great team, and it because of the team work that makes Dr. Berger and his staff unique. I would encourage anyone considering a tubal reversal to contact Dr. Berger.

They are willing to help till you are not a success for their statistics then you don't mean anything to them anymore. They claim that there's only a 5% chance of blocked tubes, that's not accurate. They have policed their board so as you can't post a negative comment or they ban you and you don't exist anymore. I went onto have a baby with the help of my wonderful RE. The TR was a complete waste of money!! Their message board is fraud because they don't let the whole story be told. I scheduled my surgery based on what I read and it's definitely be whitewashed! I would suggest anyone considering using this Dr first get another opinion of wether they are even a candidate for a TR. I found out too late by 3 other drs that do TR's that I was never a candidate.

Dr. Berger and his staff are by far the most organized and professional team I've had the pleasure of dealing with in the medical field! They've worked together for years and have things down to a fine science. They took time to answer every paranoid question I had. I never felt rushed through the process. I can't recommend Dr. Berger highly enough!! The post-surgery support system is amazing. I can call or email and get a quick response from anyone on the staff including Dr. Berger himself! He doesn't overtax himself by trying to take on more patients than he can handle in a day and I believe this is a true testimony to a doctor who's out to help people and not just running them through a mill.

I would like to say that I have never been to a better place that has the nicest, caring and the best outstanding service until I went to Chapel Hill Tr Center. They are there with you every step of the way. They explain every detail, make sure you are completely comfortable, and are there for your needs after your surgery when you are at home. I have always had a response back from my emails to them usually the same day. The message boards are a great source of learning what this procedure is all about and we are there for each other through this journey. All I have to say is they are the #1 medical center in my book with the best Dr. and Staff you could ask for no matter what the outcome is..

i had my tr in january 08. i had an ectopic pregnancy and am now currently 8 weeks pregnant. i am in disagreement with the ladies in reference to the message board. it is the one thing that actually helped me make my decision on chosing dr. berger. you can get alot of information from the board that you won't find on any other tr website. the staff was great, and whenever i email dr. berger directly, he always responded quickly. i would recommend him to anyone wanting a tr.

I had a TR with DR. Berger and was very happy with my whole experience. The first thing that caught my eye was the message board and that is what lead me to further my research on him. I must say though that since my TR I have to agree with some of what the other poster has said about the "rules" and policeing of the message board. If there is anything mentioned that they do not like or mentions any other type of procedure to get preg. which I have not had IVF so that is not the reason for me saying this..they get snotty and will remove or threaten to ask you to leave.I do not agree with this at all.Other than that, I was happy and he is a wonderful physican...and I do not think he is the TR Moderator..so that makes me happy.

I was very happy with them. I had some issues with healing after I got home and they were very helpful when I called. I got some meds and I am doing very well now. The staff has answered any question without making me feel like I was nuts or the only one with that problem. Thank you again for all you have done for me.

Dr Berger is by far the most caring Doctor I have ever been to. I am almost three thousand miles away from his office, had my Tubal Reversal Surgery over a month ago, and he is still following up with me. He has made personal phone calls as well as numerous emails to ensure good follow up care. His office staf was excellent. 5 stars all the way!!

Dr. Berger and his staff are the most professional, kind-hearted, dedicated and resourceful group I have ever done "business" with. He went above and beyond when it came to my surgery. Where one doctor and an uniformed decision left me with no hope of ever having a chance to have another baby - Dr. Berger pulled out a miracle and made me whole again. Unfortunately, there seems to be many women across the world in my same position. Fortunately - for us - there is Dr. Berger. I would recommend him to EVERYONE - with complete confidence that I was putting them in the best hands. I have never been in a place that made you feel so welcomed, important and cared for. His skill is unparalleled. His knowledge abounding. And the individual attention he gives each patient in astounding. And... when you tell him so - he is so humble. WOW! What can I say about Dr. Berger and his staff? NOT ENOUGH! They are the best, most professional staff I have ever known. My wife and I started researching why she was having so many problems after her tubal ligation in '03. Every symptom pointed to PTLS. Thank God for Dr. Berger. We made several calls and sent several emails--all handled so caring and professionally. When we arrived, we both were treated so well. My wife had surgery the first week of May. After surgery, the next morning she was hurting pretty badly. Dr. Berger, without hesitation or requesting more money, offered to go back in and give her more local anesthesia to make the plane trip more comfortable for her. In this very short time, I can already tell a difference in her mood, energy, menses, etc. We are also so happy that we can possibly conceive another child (she wants 3 more--we already have 4). Lori was always calling and checking on us--so caring. Thank you so much Dr. Berger! Gary & Christelle--Alabama

In my opinion,Dr. Berger is an amazing surgeon. He truly emphasizes your care and comfort throughout the surgical procedure. The supporting staff is a gentle and nurturing one; very compassionate and in tune to making the experience a relaxed one. Although it has been 8 cycles since my TR procedure, without a pregnancy to report; my left tube has since closed, I feel that I gave myself the absolute best care and expertise that money could buy. I have no regrets, had a wonderful experience and wouldn't change a thing. I came all the way from California to see Dr. B and both my husband and I felt welcomed and treated with courtesy and respect the entire time we were there. I have had excellent contact by phone, always prompt and friendly, since I came back home. I remain optimistic that I will conceive with my one open tube and I feel blessed to have a second chance. Thank you Dr. B and thank you CHTRC staff! You're the best!

Dr. Berger and his staff were awesome!!!! They were extremely kind and patient throughout the entire process. Dr. Berger and and his staff were very approachable and every detail of my surgery and recovery were explained. There were no surprises and Dr. Berger and his staff answered all of my questions no matter how many times I called. I had minimal pain,I only needed pain meds the first night following my surgery and I was able to resume my normal activities the next day. I did not experience any adverse effects. The nurse coming to my hotel room the day after surgery provided a nice personal touch as well as the gift box of permissable food. I would highly recommend Dr. Berger and Chapel Hill to everyone who was considering tubal reversal surgery. Very friendly, very interested in the details of my post tubal ligation symptoms as well as my desire for another baby. Gave me the possible reasons why PTLS exists, interested in my outcome. Compassionate, thoughtful. Gave me the time and attention I needed, plenty of opportunity for questions answered and discussion. I felt supported and understood. The post surgery period was almost pain-free, I only needed a small amount of pain medication for the first few days. Professional and very dedicated to the well being and happiness of women everywhere. I'm so glad I found his site on the internet.

The whole experience was like going on vacation!~My husband and I felt so pampered!The staff and Dr Berger were AWESOME and made us feel like we were the only patient!My TR was 8/27/07 and they continue to call and check on me and even extended my work note for me.I am still a little sore at my incision but other than that it's been great!I would do it all again if I had to.I guess now we just wait and pray for a baby.I can't wait to give my husband his first child.Thank-you Dr Berger and your wonderful nurses! :) Donna Downs Chesapeake<VA

I was very pleased with my experience. The nurses were wonderfully nice and caring. Dr. Berger spent adequate time with us individually before and after my surgery. And not having to stay in a hospital overnight was a tremendous bonus.

It has been almost a year since my TR and they still answer my questions and respond to any questions or concerns I have. I traveled from Michigan for the procedure and would do it again. I haven't yet had the opportunity to meet Dr. Berger, however, I will soon. After doing alot of research and looking at his messege board for a long time, I realized that he truely cares, as well as his staff. If you ever ask a question whether you want a TR had a Tr a week ago or 10 years ago, your question will get answered. Once you see how much care he puts into his work you will know you don't have to look any further! Atleast I know I won't.

I too was rescheduled and then once I arrived while the other patients sat in their comfy recliners my husband and I were put in a back room and I had to lay on a tiny,tiny chair!I paid the same as the other ladies,rearranged MY schedule to satisfy theirs and yet was treated as if I was an after thought!I feel like everyone should be given the same treatment especially when we go out of our way for them!

My husband and I found Dr. Berger after spending $10,000 on a failed attempt at IVF. The care we received at CHRTC was phenominal. It was the most professional and compassionate medical experience I have ever had. My husband and I were both amazes at how comfortable I was after the surgery, and with how small and neat the incision site was. The follow up care has been just as impressive, with the center calling me at 6 months and 1 year, and always being there to answer questions for me whenever I have them, even now, over a year and a half later. He is the best choice a couple could possibly make when pursuing restoring their fertility. It is an experience I will always treasure, and a choice I will always be glad I made. From beginning to end, the experience was an EXCELLENT one. I NEVER met a DR. & STAFF the keep in touch w/patients even after care. Dr. Berger & his staff are ONE of a KIND & for many reasons. They ALWAYS make themselves available to answer any & all questions you may have. My DOS was 12/29/06. Although I haven't concieved yet, I feel as if DR. Berger has given me the gift of being whole. The sugery WAS a SUCCESS as expected. I've never had such a warm welcoming experience such as the one i received from the CHTRC Staff. Dr. Berger was very prompt & forth coming & has a GREAT knowledge of his profession & skills. He was able to make me feel more at ease with the procedure & the possible outcome. I couldn't have been more satisfied. I now have the chance again to be a mother once more & it's all thanks to DR. BERGER. Words can't express the GRATITUDE my HUBBY & I have for DR. B & his Staff. As of my surgery date, the CH Staff has become a part of my SOON to be Growing Family. # 1 w/me!!

I had my TR done in 2004.It was a positive experience. Dr. Berger and Staff have a mission, and they do it well.I love the fact that there is a message board where we are able to talk to others that have had experience with Dr Berger. I never did get lucky enough to get pregnant from my TR,I went through IVF and I have my miracle.I think the only negative thing I can say about the whole situation is that I dont think many women are good candidates for this surgery,whether it be their age or their tubal condition.I dont think there is enough info provided for those that fall in those groups. IVF has a cut off age of 44 with own eggs,yet reversals are still done on women over that age. THey are advised to get an FSH done,and that is all.Fact is most women should consult with a fertility specialist before they fork out money, time and emotion for this journey. It is an incredible one to go on, and I cant think of a better DR to go on it with. Just make sure you are prepared for the ride.

Doctor Berger has made all our dreams come true. My TR was March 2007, I was pregnant April 2007. It only took one month to get Pregnant. The staf of CHTRC is Awsome. Everyone is friendly and helpfull. I love the books of pictures of TR babies on the tables in the waiting room it makes everything seem real for the first time. Dr. Berger takes time to talk to each person one on one untill all questions are anwsered and everyone feels comfortable. I loved the fact that a nurse comes to your hotel room the day after surgery just to make sure everything is good for the trip home. The surgery is so fast and almost no pain after.Doctor Berger found a hernia while doing my surgery and fixed it for me so when I did get pregnant I would not have any problems "how great was that"? you dont find many "if any" doctors that go above and beyond like Dr. Berges does. I could have had my reversal in my home town but I wanted the BEST and that is just what I got. Thank you Dr. Berger and staff!

I had a TL '05 falope rings. 2 weeks before my menses I would get terrible leg cramps. Severe mood swings and very depressed. When my menses would arrive I would be in severe pain and Ibuprofen was like candy to me. My poor husband and children suffered too. I did some research and found about PTLS. I knew that I needed to have my tubes reversed. I had my tr feb' 07. I was amazed even after the surgery I didn't have to take many pain relievers. My periods are shorter and the pain is almost non existent. I'm currently not trying to have a baby right now. I'm working on my OT degree. Because, I have 4 children already, and would like to travel with my husband around the world before I get old and gray. I think, it is wonderful that Dr. Berger and his staff help many women achieve their dreams whether it is to save the sanity of a women like myself, or to help families have more children, if they desire. I had my TR almost 3 years ago. After having an HSG to find out if my tubes were open and being told they were indeed closed I mailed my films to Dr. Berger. He told me that my tubes were open. After contacting them with a question and no reply I have decided that they are only nice to those who actually have success in concieving a child. I am very saddened by they fact that my DH and I wasted so much money on something that they don't care worked or not. They treat you like queens while you are there but if you have trouble after that it is like you don't exist.....Very unhappy with the whole experience.

I had my TR on 3-29-07 and found out I was pregnant on 5-29-07. After surgery only pain medication I took was ibuprofen. I was not laid up in bed at all. Thank You Dr. Berger. Tammy

I had my baby a few days after the one year anniversary of my tubal reversal performed by Dr. Berger. When he wrote to congratulate me, he told me that there are now more than 2000 babies that have been born after his procedure. That's an amazing testiment to his skill and dedication through the years. I have never met a more dedicated doctor!

I had my tubal reversal in 2004 and was pregnant 2 months later! Dr. Berger is a fantastic doctor with an incredible staff. No detail isn't attended to at their practice. From the first phone call to the last goodbye, I felt as though my needs came first and foremost. They were helpful and sympathetic not only to me, but to my husband as well. They took excellent care of me and my 2 year old is living proof that Dr. Berger's tubal reversals work! Dr. Berger and his staff are an incredible group of professionals. Their knowledge along with their awesome sense of caring is reflected in every step of your visit(s) with them. You are not considered a number on their books which makes them rise a step above others in the medical field. From the receptionist to the recovery nurses, they help put your mind at ease and make you feel comfortable. Dr. Berger never made me feel as if I was crazy for wanting another baby at age 42. Instead we talked about the possibilities for conception and the things that were important to do. They've answered every question before my TR procedure and be very prompt to answer each one afterwards. Calling to check on my progress a few days after the surgery was great. Having my surgery at CHTRC was a most excellent experience! Dr. Berger and ALL the staff were so very caring, kind, and helpful. They were all ready and willing to answer any questions I might have had and made me feel comfortable enough to ask questions if I had any. The facility was immaculate and everything there ran like clock work. I am 9 days post-op and I am feeling great. My incision is healing nicely (the scar is almost unnoticeable) and I am almost back to 100%. Dr. Berger's technique is truly amazing! I would definitely do it all over again. I wouldn't recommend any one else other than Dr. Berger and CHTRC, they are The Best!!

From the moment I began contacting Dr. Berger's office, the service was exceptional. Either he or one of his nurse's always wrote back, sometimes on the weekend or on an evening. The anesthesia team was outstanding and the nursing care one-on-one and, of coures, Dr. Berger is the best. I would recommend Dr. Berger and his staff to anyone. They have continued to follow-up with me since my surgery 18 months ago.

Not only do they provide quality service and hospitality but even years down the road after your TR, Dr. Berger and his staff are there to provide you with answers to your questions and support through the good times and the bad times.... FOR FREE!!! I've never found any Dr. willing to do that! And Dr. Berger even requests that a woman page him if need be.. How cool is that. Dr. Berger is the most knowledgeable and experienced tubal reversal doctor in the world. In the Recovery Room after your surgery, maps of the US and the world show that patients come to him from all over the world! He is the without question the top doctor in his field and his staff are just as wonderful. I wish all doctors could be as kind and caring as Dr. Berger and his nurses.

I had my TR done in May 2004. I was scared out of my mind on what to expect when I got to Chapel Hill. Everyone there put my mind at ease and took care of us. The next morning I met with Dr. Berger before surgery and he was so kind and caring. Told me how the surgery would go and also told me there was NO guarantee that I would get pregnant. Well I am happy to report that I now have a 17 month old daughter. Thank you Dr. Berger and everyone at CHTRC for making our dreams come true! Dr. Berger is the best at what he does, he is known worldwide and I recommend him to everyone that wants a TR.

I had my reversal on June 2004.I found Dr. Berger to be really good at what he does.Him and his staff were very kind and took the time to listen and answer all my questions.I wish I could find a doctor just like him where I live.By the way I know have a little girl who is 19 mo. and I'm due whith my second baby girl on august 31.

Dr. Berger and his staff we unbeleivably wonderful. His entire staff are so helpful and truely care for each person's situation. Dr. Berger is just fabulous, he really wants the best outcome for you and he truely cares for each patient. His office runs very efficiently and everyone is on top of their job. My husband and I were just blown away by the efficiency and care that is take for every family. I could not have had a better expierence.

Dr. Berger and his entire staff provided me with truly the BEST surgical experience I have ever had. No one likes to have surgery...it can be scary. However, they put me at ease, were 110% professional and knowledgeable. I have to say that while I am pleased as punch that my surgery was so successful (I am currently 35 weeks pg) I would not have hesitated for a second to go back for a repeat with his office if it had been necessary. I actually kind of miss everyone there ... it was THAT GOOD of an experience. We flew from Texas to NC to use him as my surgeon and it was worth every second, and every penny! Dr. Berger is TOPS in my book!!!

Dr. Berger performed my tubal reversal in 2003. He and his staff are wonderful. The care I received while at the Center and even after, to this very day, has been great. My first tubal-reversal baby, Logan, was born ,December, 1, 2005. If I had to do it all over again, I wouldn't change a thing! Carol S. Texas

Nurse Julia was VERY rude!Even though you can't change your surgery date once it is set unless you pay an additional amount they changed mine!I had to rearrange my work schedule to work my surgery in but of course I didn't get to charge an additional fee :)Keep in mind they called me 3 days before I was suppose to have the surgery to reschedule!!

I had my Tubal Reversal with Dr. Weiss on 3/23/2007 and on April 20th I tested positive! Dr. Berger and his staff exceed the maximum when it comes to giving their patients the BEST! I am so happy with the outcome of my surgery. I Thank God that I found Dr. Berger because now I am able to give the Man of my dreams a son or daughter!! Thank you Martha Bellido Miami Florida

I loved Dr. Berger and his staff! Finally I had a Dr. that listened and really cared!!! Their follow ups and constant avail. to me is 24/7 even today four months after my surgrey.I only wish more Dr.'s and staff were like Dr. Berger and his staff.

He is a very kind and understanding doctor. We traveled from NY to have him perform our surgery. His facility is kept very clean and the staff were all professional and eager to listen to our concerns. I wouldn't hestitate to travel to NC to have him perform another TR.

We had our tubal reversal done in August, 2005. We are now 11 weeks pregnant and due in January. Dr. Berger and his staff did a wonderful job - not only was it successful but they treated us amazingly well.

Wonderful, attentive doctor who cares for his patients as if they were his family. Best doctor I have ever known. Genius in his field. He even answers emails personally. After extensive research, I chose Dr. Berger to perform my Tubal Reversal. Dr. Berger and his staff were kind and genuine as well as skilled. I was made to feel at ease from the moment I set foot in his office. Dr. Berger took all the time necessary to talk with my husband and myself regarding the surgery, outcomes and possible risks. My surgery was at 7:30 a.m. and I was back and recovering, feeling well, by 10:30 a.m. My recovery time was minimal and his staff continued to check on me even after arriving at home. I am able to keep in contact with Dr. Berger and his staff 24/7 through his website and message board as well as communicate with other women to compare and for support. My TR was successful and I am happy to say that after only two cycles I became pregnant and am now 23 weeks along! I thank God every day for giving Dr. Berger the skill and caring to specialize in tubal reversal and for bringing me to him!

Dr. B is the most caring, helpful and all around great doctor. I went to him scared and felt so relaxed and comfortable once I met him and the staff. I trusted in him to make things right for me again and he gave me back my woman hood of being able to one day maybe carrying another child. I highly recommend him to anyone that is preparing to go down this road.

Did my TR in 2/02. I have not conceived but the surgery did cure my Post Tubal Ligation Syndrome and give me my quality of life back. I have contacted Dr. Berger several times since the surgery and he and/or his nurse have returned my calls the same day and offered their expertise and advice. The whole TR experience from start to finish was VERY professional and caring and I don't regret the surgery even though I haven't conceived.

Dr. Berger did my tubal reversal surgery in 2001. We've had 3 babies since then and are currently pg with our 4th. He returned my calls at 3 am when I had concerns after surgery. I send everyone I know who wants this surgery done to him. He answered all of my questions thoroughly.
