I have taken my 13 year old daughter, my husband and myself, we all felt the doctor was very thorough and appreciate his straight forward information, we highly recommend doctor Kachmar to all age groups at either office, the staff is very nice and efficient.

I found Dr. Kachmar & his staff to be pleasant and very professional.

My primary doctor sent me to Dr Kachmer for a foot issue. I liked him at first but I feel he doesn't follow through and neither does his staff. I have to see him one or two more times,then I will find someone else. \

I have problem feet, period. I've been to a couple of different doctors over the years trying to find one I like, that is what I do. Dr. Kachmar is a very smart man. Sometimes he can be a little arrogant, he has a strong personality. He knows his stuff and will tell you like it is, no BS. I like that in a doctor. He spends time with you no matter how small the problem. I can get an appointment within the time slot I need usually within 2 weeks. The front desk office clerk is friendly, sometimes unprofessional and will comment about another patient or another doctor within earshot of patients in the waiting room. The medical assistant is friendly and professional. The Bayville office is outdated and in need of a decorators touch and they need to fire the cleaning crew and try another. Dr. Kachmar is a keeper.

They forgot to write my prescription and had me schedule another appointment to give me one, refusing to do it directly to the pharmacy.

Had surgery back in 2004 when I was 26 for a bunion.. He was fantastic!!!!! Makes you feel cery comfortable and does not rush you when you have questions.. Explains everything in detail.. Highly reccommend!! J.Dorso

DID I MISS SOMETHING <<<< I AM IN PAIN YES BUT I CANNOT GO ON DISABILITY OR SUFFER NOT BEING ABLE TO PAY MY BILLS>> STRANGE BUT IF YOU WANT TO BE TALKED DOWN TO AND BE MADE TO FEEL ASHAMED FOR BEING IN PAIN SEE MR KACHMAR

Dr. Kachmar was good in the beginning, until he couldn't figure out my foot problem and thought I had a pain syndrome & nerve damage. well he did one cortizone shot and it was fabulous I was walking great for the first time in over two year. then.. the second shot he split a vein(so he says) in my foot. It looked like someone dripped blue die up and down and around my foot, I was 'bruised' for over a month and he told me it was normal, he didnt know why I was bruising & that he has done hundreds of shots so it wasnt his problem basically. so he told me to go get a shot in my back to numb/paralyze my entire nerve and we wouldnt see me again till I did. well good thing I didnt bc he was wrong & now I have had a successful surgery with another doctor.
