Dr. Patterson has been my internist for over 16 years and my husband's over 25. He is one of the rare doctors who combines a terrific personality/bedside manner with world class skills. When one goes for an annual physical, he spends over 90 minutes with you--there is literally nothing he leaves out. And if there are problems, his referrals are as outstanding as he is. My husband and i have gone through several health issues that he has treated with kindness, promptness, and caring. I recommend him without reservation.

Been my doc since I turned 18. Love him! Very personable and knows what he's talking about.

Arrogant: spends more time telling me what a good doctor he is than being a good doctor by conducting a thorough examination and asking questions. Far more interested in himself than in his patient. Refuses to talk over the phone with patients about medical matters. Hard to say if he's knowledgeable as he tends to refer even basic matters to a specialist. I'm going elsewhere.

EXCELLENT!!! Been our primary care physician for >10 years. Thorough, always returns phone calls same day, great referrals and follow-up when needed, always apologizes if running late. Office staff great at helping to manage needs--lab work, immunizations, etc, usually seen within that week. Has also been accessible to us, and partner is also excellent.

My primary physician for 20 years. Always has steered me in the right direction. Always returns phone calls THAT SAME DAY! Extremely professional. Excellent scheduling: Gives you adequate time in his office but does not leave ever leave you waiting in waiting room for more than 10 minutes.

Although strongly recommended by the American Cancer Society for all men aged 50 or older, and despite a patient explicitly expressing a concern about enlarged prostate/night urination problem during an overall physical exam, the physician did not order a serum PSA level test. Had he done so, my prostate cancer (now quite advanced), would have been caught earlier and possibly leave me with alternative treatment options.
