I feel blessed to have had Dr. Stein do my corrective eye procedure. I now have clear vision in my right eye. He's not only a world class opthamologist, he's also very unassuming and thoughtful. Be prepared for a wait as he's very busy. Thank you Dr Stein to you and your wonderful staff.

In Oct 2025, Dr. Stein performed cataract surgery on both my eyes and installed new distance lenses. The operation was painless & quick. My distance vision is now very good without any glasses (better for driving, golfing, etc.). As an added bonus, I can read without glasses as well (small print & low light still need help of course). Dr. Stein said this was a benefit provided by the ever increasing quality of the lenses available today. He also saw me a second time without an appointment to deal with a minor concern. Finally, I did have some issues a month or so later while in Florida (inflammation & pain & light sensitivity). I saw a Florida Doctor who prescribed a regimen of some drops to deal with the issue. I sent Dr. Stein a text late on a Friday night to ensure I was getting safe treatment. He texted me back around 8:00 AM the next morning (Saturday) with detailed confirmation that the prescribed regimen would be safe and effective. My experience with Dr. Stein and his staff was wonderful. His staff is kind, understanding and reflected the confidence they have in Dr. Stein. Dr. Stein's skills and bedside manner were on full display during my procedure, both reflected a knowledge of not only medicine and patient care. He was extremely gentle in his tone and technique and made me feel comfortable through what is considered by most people a scary procedure. As a potter I found wearing my glasses daily at the studio cumbersome and very often they became obscured with clay. My new vision without glasses has made my studio time a pleasure. Dr Stein’s knowledge and expertise are vital in my decision making. I was very scared before the surgery despite their reassurance. I am grateful for him and knowing he has some of the top of the line equipments and technology. Now, I am enjoying life again. However, if anyone is looking for that ‘personal’ connection with the team, it would be difficult to find there as everything runs like a clockwork and everyone is so very busy tasking away. When it comes to cost of the operation, I appreciate the view of price is different for everyone, is relative, but for me, it took a fair chunk of my savings. On a more positive note, I am thankful for Dr Stein helped me gain my eyesight and day to day enjoyment back. I cannot thank him enough.
