I am surprised that they are allowed to legally practice for the amount of horrendous service provided. They should be reported to state board for many issues that can cause serious harm to children, disorganized beyond belief. Worst experience of my life and I would never recommend that doctor and especially its staff to anyone.
Never wrote comments ever..this is is for the first time i am writing something for anyone. My son had fever for two days , since friday night. On sunday i saw tiny rashes on his chest. I got worried and called at dr radhakrishna's office at piscatway ,who has been my son's paed dr since his birth for last 5 and half years. Someone on phone told me that dr will be leaving in few mins as she is not feeling well too and i can have appointment for tomorrow. I asked her if i can talk with dr if possible. Thenin couple of mins Dr radhakrishna called me back in couple of mins. I talked with her and asked her if i can come right now. She just understood my worry and withing 10-15 mins i was there. I saw dr was having some problem in her leg and couldn't walk properly. But she checked my son with same calmess of mind and compassion as she always does.
Worst experience ever. Not very helpful, always talks in $$$, Would not recommend this doctor to anybody.
This clinic is now became a network of doctors doing business like shop, rather than providing personal service. I had to take my 2 kids 5 times within 15 days and they had to see different doctors. On 1 appointment I had to wait more than a hour, to see a doctor who only suggested motrin for my duaghter who was sick for few days. I had to take her back next day again. luckily she was attented by other doctor who recommeded antibiotics. The billing staff would call within a few days of visit, during business hours at work, even before recieving the payment/approved/copay detail from my insurance company or kid's health improvement. They billed my credit card without consulting and would mail the details stating the amount charged, and then I had to call them to explain the charges. They only care for their money and less for kids.
Vijaya Radhakrishna had been my doctor for last 4 years, she had been a wonderful doctor, once my baby was admitted in the hospital and I was all worried. Inspite of the hospital doctor telling all sorts of procedures, she advised him to wait and said she was sure baby will fight back the fever all by itself. It so happened without any much medicines he was ok soon. Her experience speaks better in most cases. I had to switch to a new insurance and moved to new ped because of that. They scared me of the first visit and asked me to visit a neurologist, you know how they give references . I was so worried , when I called Vijaya radhakrishna to check the records, she checked and verified everything and we found the new doctor did not take accurate measurement and she plotted something in graph. She eased my pain more than twice. Given my insurance I would definetly go to her for the quality of service.
She was default doctor assigned to me after I had an emergency C-section.She didn't turn up two days in a row to see my colicky newborn, so I tried to change her while at St.Peter's. the Nurses there seem to like her and they alerted the Dr. Ms.RadhaKrishna showed up next morning and instead of focusing on checking my newborn, she was trying to see if i have a good relationship with my in-laws!I could not change to a different Pediatrician, so I ended up visiting her Office the day after discharge from the Hospital. There were way too many patients than the chairs in waiting area. They made us wait about 40 minutes and then we went to one of the rooms, where she seems to do a round-robin thing. She came and asked us to undress the baby, while she checked on 3 other kids, then came back and weighed the baby and then disappeared again.I even forgot my list of questions in this confusion.I changed my Ped that evening and never looked back.
She is okay .... long wait....average staff...expensive.Based on this Its your choice whether to go or not.
I have been going to Dr. RadhaKrishna for 10 years since my twins were born. I did not have any complains towards her or towards her assoicates. In regards to staff, you catch more bees with honey and with venigar. I like the staff there espically Nelli. If you have a billing question you have ask her. Yes they do pesture you for the payment. when you render a service dont you want to get paid?
they just want copay every time even if there is no copay. they do not keep record correct
She is one of the worst Peds Dr I know. After hospitalizing my son for a week and never finding out what his problem was. SHe then balanced billed me (this was in the late 80's early 90's) and would charge for samples($5.00) now knowing what I know I coulod have brought charges up on her for that is ilegal. But any way the care that she gave my son was horrible and I switched and am so Happy with who they have had for over 20 years. She can't compare to a lot of other Dr's out here.
