Dr. DeVries is really excellent. I’ve been seeing him for around 40 years. He really takes a lot of care in making sure that your prescription is as accurate as possible. He is very knowledgeable and capable and friendly. He discovered a problem which I didn’t even realize that I had and referred me to a specialist twice to follow up on it - a nerve problem with my one eye. I don’t think I would trust anyone else as much as Dr. DeVries.

I have been seeing Dr De Vries for over 20 years for eye tests and glasses. He has always been very patient with my questions. Glasses from his office are cheaper than Costco (yes I have checked), and the prescription is checked before I get a call and the glasses are sent back to be redone if the lens was manufactured improperly.

Dr. Devries is the best eye doctor I have seen , and takes the time to do a thorough eye exam . He is the eye doctor to my grown children , cared for my mothers eyes and has diagnosed and referred us when appropriate for further care . He’s simply the best !

I buy all my glasses, sunglasses and contacts through his office. His team is very helpful in choosing whatever eyewear you need!

Very kind patient and caring. He has given excellent care to all in our family. When needed he has referred us to other excellent caregivers. He offers a wide selection of frames and gives knowledgeable advise when needed.

Dr. De Vries makes my family feel right at home. His selection of frames is affordable, and diverse. However, he never pushes his frames. He is an honest man who provides us with the best service. His goal seems to be for the health of my family.

Dr. Devries is wonderful. He diagnosed my daughter early on with a problem which required her eye be patched. Interestingly - when I first brought my children.....I thought it was my son who needed glasses. He patiently listens to my children knatter about various subjects - and seems to enjoy how vital and alive they are. They like how human he is which is really a terrific quality where offices are becoming less personal and seem to focus on the "McDonald's" brand of client service. Louise is wonderful and again terrific with my children who are now entering the tween years. I love her accent!

Dr. Devries is skilled, patient and accomodating. Our entire family of 6 has been seeing him for over 22 years. He is professional and treats his patients with care and respect. has diagnosed conditions early on which when referred onto CHEO, the specialists there said Dr. Devries did an excellent job diagnosing a condition that is difficult to identify.

Our family has been with him for many years. We have always found him not as patient as other doctors we see, but we have stayed with him. However, he was extremely impatient and unprofessional at my appointment today. He did not like to hear my problems with the glasses he had prescribed. He jumped in with his "diagnosis" of the problem before I finished describing the problem. He reacted to the problems in a very impatient and unprofessional manner. For the time he spent on checking it out, he charged me for "partial exam" and, moreover, threatened to end the many years of doctor-patient relationship if I did not pay. I found the practice totally unprofessional and too money-minded.
