I do not recommend dr garza. He and his staff are rude and won't ever give you a straight answer. He runs a ton of unnecessary tests and will never give you a straight answer or the actual numbers of your results. Pregnancy should be fun and exciting and low stress. I find myself loathing to go back for my next apt just because of their attitude. Dr should be understanding and explain things to you. Not brush you off.

Dr garza is a very rude doctor and doesnt take the time to listen to you. also his staff is also very rude especially meredith always has attitude. i will not reccomend him to anyone.

This doctor was horrible and I would not recommend him to anyone. After a c-section he ignored all clinical signs and symptoms (my mother is a doctor) and I needed a transfusion. I called re fevers and he was unresponsive until finally he did tests and after waiting for 5 days I went to the ER because of the high fever and had an infection so bad I had to have tubes put in to remove all the pus and hematomas that had formed. Every time I talked to him he is rushed and inattentive. His staff is rude, careless and unprofessional to say the lease

Dr. Garza is an awesome dr. I have been seeing him for over 20 years. He is helpful, caring and compassionate.

I saw Dr. Garza in Dec 2008. I found his mannerism a little abrasive, but he was professional enough. His staff, however, EXTREMELY rude. I had blood test done to test fertility. When they called me with the results, the nurse was beyond rude. Office was very out-dated and dingy. I changed doctors.

Dr. Garza has been my GYN for 4 years and I love his care; he is professional and know what he is doing. His staff is not nice (except his mom)

Delivered my 3rd baby , has cared for me for 15 years, very careful, takes tremendous precautions, I had problems with all my pregnancy's and went through a few miscarriages, so I have seen dr. garza weekly for YEARS and have NEVER seen him act unprofessional to any of his patients. I do admit he is a little rough around the edges, but he really does care about his patients.

Dr. Garza delivered my first child by c-section. The section went well, and I recovered easily, but that's not why I'm here. My baby had a very serious heart defect called Hypoplastic Left Heart Syndrome. Dr. Garza caught this early on, and helped me to get good care for my son from specialists even before he was born. After my son was born, Dr. Garza helped me to stay in the hospital longer than I needed to, so I could be close to my baby. My son had surgery at 5 days old, and went to the PICU afterwards. Dr. Garza visited him a couple of times to check on him. After my son died, Dr. Garza personally called me to give me condolences, and spent about 45 minutes talking with me at my last post-partum check (which was after my son died) about my baby, and seemed genuinely torn up about it. His bedside manner is gruff, but I found that he knows his stuff and was very compassionate in a time in my life that was full of tears.

I don't know if I should blame the doctor but I would definitely blame the nurse. I went in for an office visit and told her all the symptoms I had and she totally ignored some symptoms. I felt so cheated...if anyone knows of a good doctor in Dallas please let me know...I need to find one fast!!!!
