Dr Chen is extremely knowledgable and thoughtful during my visit. He explained to me my problem and helped me create a plan. His staff is very friendly and helpful with following up. I am very impressed by the high quality of care. I highly recommend him!

Excessively overbooks his appointments in West Chester (or at least his staff does) -- expect to wait and wait even if you schedule an early morning appointment -- staff does not seem to care how long you're there.

he is not good at finding or fixing the problem he experiments trying to find the answer and doesn't expect that he messed up. when you suggest what you think is the problem he doesn't want to hear you and he will try to get you to pay for expensive orthotics that don't work, and seem confused when the problem is still there and will just keep telling you to wear orthotics and hope that the problem goes away.

Biography

Timothy Chen DPM is a board-certified surgeon who specializes in the foot and ankle disorder. Dr. Chen started the practice in 2004 and based his office in Exton PA. Dr. Chen prides himself on a patient-centered, scientific based, and outcome-driven approach to foot and ankle care. As a practice philosophy, he believes in exhausting all conservative methods prior to surgical intervention. Dr. Chen is on staff at Paoli Memorial Hospitals, Penn Medicine Chester County Hospital, and Jennersville Regional Hospital. Dr. Chen is on call for the emergency department in all three affiliated hospitals. He is active in providing in-patient hospital consultation for patients that require more intensive management of their foot and ankle problem.
