Dr Buck treated my father. He was rude and arrogant and I highly recommend patients avoid him. My widowed mother is now 93 years old and still talks about Dr Buck’s shoddy treatment of my ill dad

I have been a patient of Dr Bucks since 2015 and find he is an excellent Dr and explains things clearly.

35 years Dr Buck effectively saved my life. I was a young guy, I thought that I was invincible however, I was brought back to reality with a diagnosis of Hodgkins Lymphoma. Dr Buck oversaw the treatment that I required and 35 years later I am still going. What more is there that I can say, except thank you Dr Buck.

Dr Martin Buck is an amazing doctor who therefore is an amazing human being who saved my life from a rare cancer and I am eternally grateful to him Dr Martin Buck andhis team of people at King Edward memorial where I had surgery 6/12/2021 followed by chemotherapy at Sir Charles Gardiner Hospital everyone did their best to their ability and personality working in a very difficult area cancer life or death situations I was allowed to be myself and without everyone from the clerical teams and nursing teams and to the doctors in consultation with patients like myself Dr Martin Buck who guided my whole treatment through these doctors at every level and pathologist teams and the anaesthesiologists to the coffee ladies and the people who keep the hospitals clean and the people who came with me and those who couldn't but supported me in there own way and the clear outline for treatment was positive so I thank Dr Martin Buck and his teams of people who just want to save lives Thank you forever Suzanne

I agree with the appalling reviews. He was a terrible doctor to my mum and made her last few weeks a total nightmare. I will never forget that and it will forever haunt me. We too experienced his clear annoyance at being asked a couple of very reasonable questions . My advice is also to "run for the hills" if you or someone you love is referred to him. He is awful.

He was two hours late then did not show up to a meeting for my mothers treatment plan for ovarian cancer. A nurse on the ward warned my family he’s not compassionate or caring and is quite nasty and dismissive to patients and staff. I was 13 at the time. I’m 24 now and I’ve just found all of these reviews, this breaks my heart. It’s wrong to play god. He’s an Absolute Disgrace and should be stuck off. A class action would be suffice. My mother never received her treatment and gave up after he did not attend.

Pretty much spent the appointment looking at his phone dinging on his desk, fiddling with his fingers, staring at the computer screen while my mother in law with stage four cancer is facing her first relapse and wanted some compassion and answers. Instead she got no explanations, eye rolls every time we asked a question and the crystal ball speech. Avoid if you can.
