This is a terrible doctor. I don't even have enough words to describe what I had to go through because of her lack of skill as a medical doctor. Definitely see someone else.
My Mom had cancer and I went with her to see Dr. Miller for her appointment. Dr. Miller told me to leave the room when I wanted to stay with Mom for support. She was very cold and told me to wait outside even I told her I am the daughter. After the appointment my Mom couldn't remember half of the stuff she said and she was "dismissed." We ended up seeing another Specialist. I would avoid this idiot a all cost.
Useless, impatient, and rude. Even a pet rock is more useful.
Very demeaning to seniors. I saw first hand how rude she was to an elderly woman with a walker. I quickly went to the receptionist to change our appointment so that my Mother didn't have to work with this whore. The receptionist at BC Cancers agreed and switched us. Go figure.
I was diagnosed as an advanced stage 3 b ovarian cancer in 1998. If not for Dr Miller I likely would not be here writing this review. I had every severe side effect from the chemo and radiation treatments and dr Miller was there for me every step of the way. She is a warm, caring and amazing doctor and I can never say enough about how grateful I am to have had her as my physician.
My experience with this doctor was a terrible one especially at a time of need. I have cancer. It is not fun for me nor my family members, and I would expect a slight bit of kindness instead of being cold, unkind, and most importantly, incapable. She sent me out of her office in a grand total of 5 minutes. I had no time for questions, and throughout the appointment she was quiet like a robot and was pre-occuppied with her cell phone. A typical appointment like this will take about 15 to 20 mins. I do not trust anything she did during my appointment. If you want an old and worn doctor like this who works hard to fleece the system, then use her service. Her competency is doubtful and I went somewhere else. Also, do not be afraid to seek opinions from the hospital staff; they are not on her payroll and they too have an opinion on the WORST doctors in their unit.
A hilarious sweetheart of a person/physician! Wish I could just hang out with her!
Incompetent, unkind, unfriendly, and unprpfesdional. Told me she was department head and chair of some sort (translation: she has no time for patients) which I could care less. I'm looking for a real doctor not a pen pusher that I can never get a hold of. Go find another doctor.
My experience with Dr Miller and her team of interns, nurses, etc, at UBC was nothing short of caring, professional, and friendly.
Don't be fooled by her bio. Remember, the more bells and whistles, the less time she spends in the hospital. She has medical knowledge of 1971. Last seen in the operating: 1980. She has caused our family so much grievance and I would recommend others to find a real doctor.
