I have been with Dr Fox for over 10 years now. His bedside manner is a problem. He is blunt and doesn't read his patients needs very well. In his mind he thinks he's being cute or funny but in reality his shock talk makes one feel uncomfortable. Given he is the "Doctor" I believe he is given a lot of slack. We always make appointments with the PA, Lisa, whom we absolutely love. However, it can't be good when we want to avoid the Doctor. I am looking for another Doctor, which is why I'm on this site.

He is our family doctor. He was at the birth of both of our children. Very, very straight forward and blunt. I think thats where some of the complaints of 'poor' bedside manner come from. He isn't here to baby you and thats the way we like it. Also, will not be bullied into giving out meds just because a patient thinks they need to be on something. Love that too. If he doesn't think he is the best doctor to treat your condition he will send you to someone else.

He always assumed that my concerns and symptoms were related to "female issues" and I never felt satisfied that I got a thorough workup. I have since had appropriate diagnostics which have proven conditions other than his suspected reproductive system-related problems, and I am glad that as a consumer I shopped elsewhere.

Excellent doctor. Very pleasant and candid; easy to talk to and he is a good listener. Effective treatment. Highly recommended.
